Help shape the magic of LEGO® beyond our own stores. This is a unique opportunity to elevate the LEGO retail experience across Travel Retail and Merlin partner stores worldwide—bringing consistency, commercial impact, and shopper delight to some of the most visible and fast-paced retail environments. We're pleased to share that we offer a hybrid working week arrangement called Best of Both, requiring 3 days in the office location and 2 days from home.

Relocation support to Copenhagen only is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive and elevate the LEGO retail experience across LEGO Travel Stores (LTS) and Merlin Stores globally, ensuring consistent, outstanding.

  • Act as global owner of the Merlin and LTS retail operating model, setting clear frameworks, guidelines, and toolkits that drive scalable retail perfection and strong store performance.

  • Partner closely with key collaborators (Retail Training, Branded Channel Leads, market teams, KAMs and Merlin Commercial Lead) and act as Key Retail Business Partner for Merlin and Travel Retail.

  • Bridge best practices across LEGO channels, translating what works in LEGO Branded Retail (LBR) and LEGO Certified Stores (LCS) into impactful, practical solutions for Travel Retail and Merlin partners.

  • Drive performance through insight and action, diagnosing store opportunities, identifying quick wins, and developing retail excellence programs that improve KPIs such as like-for-like growth and NPS.

Do you have what it takes

  • Travel Retail / Store Excellence Leadership (Partner-Led Environments) - Experience in brand retail, partner channel development, and/or franchise management within a consumer or lifestyle brand, with proven expertise in travel retail and hands-on management of external partners to drive results.

  • Strong commercial and store excellence acumen - combining fluency in sales performance, financial planning, and P&L management with a deep understanding of retail dynamics.

  • Retail Operating Model & Framework Development - Experience owning or building retail operating models, playbooks, or excellence frameworks that bring structure, governance, and scalability across multiple partners, markets, and store formats.

  • Strong Stakeholder Influence & Indirect Leadership - Outstanding ability to lead through influence across global, regional, and market teams (KAMs, Commercial, Retail Training, Marketing), enabling others to carry the partner dialogue while maintaining consistency and momentum.

  • Fluency in English both written and verbal.
