Are you a visionary, problem-solving and collaborative Service Designer with a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills?
Then join our newly established service design team within the Digital Product Design area of Consumer and Marketing Technology (CMT). 

The team will play a pivotal role as a strategic partner across CMT digital product clusters bringing clarity to product vision and problems to be solved as well as facilitate decision making key senior stakeholders

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end service design initiatives and collaborate closely with senior partners and stakeholders across engineering, product and business to create the best possible product outcome.

  • Lead, plan and facilitate interviews with users and stakeholders

  • Design and facilitate innovative, engaging and productive workshops for diverse audiences

  • Validate and peer review service design blue prints with participants from all seniority levels

  • Synthesize and translate user pain points and business requirements for complex product landscapes into transformation opportunities and initiatives to bring clarity to strategy and what to build

  • Present findings and recommendation to senior leadership to facilitate decision making

  • Evangelize and influence the strategic impact of service design across The LEGO Group

Consumer and Marketing Technology creates internal facing products such as digital products enabling model designers to create models, product lifecycle management, the digital asset and content pipeline, marketing engagement products alongside consumer facing digital products such as LEGO® Play, LEGO® Builder, LEGO® Ideas to name a few.

CMT Digital Product Design consists of 70+ designers covering design disciplines (user research, service design, UX and UI) across the entire development process from discovery to delivery.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Background and experience within service design

  • Proven experience leading complex service design initiatives driving business value

  • Demonstrated experience presenting to senior and executive leadership  

  • Thrive in complexity: Experience mapping complex processes with many levels of users and sharing artefacts with senior leadership and internal stakeholders

  • Best-in-class communicator. Proven ability to communicate strategic direction, facilitate and impact decision-making, drive engagement and build relationships

  • Exceptional collaborator. Excel driving a cross-functional holistic approach and one team mindset

  • Structural Enthusiast. Ability to establish and bring structure and process into both existing and new ways of working
