The Name the Rovers contest is a collaborative effort between NASA and The LEGO Company. The Planetary Society and The LEGO Company have partnered to manage the contest with the support of the following organizations.

FIRST LEGO League - Sports for the Mind
Formed as a partnership between FIRST and The LEGO Company, FIRST LEGO League is an international tournament program for teams of children ages 9-14 that combines a hands-on, interactive robotics program with a sports-like atmosphere using the LEGO MINDSTORMS Technology. LEGO Educational Division
The LED is the division of LEGO Company dedicated to the field of teaching and learning. LED develops learning concepts that inspire students to use their creativity and innate curiosity through experiencing things themselves. Dedicated to servicing schools, the LED creates curriculum-based activities, teacher's guides, student materials and other products usable in a classroom setting. The LED (formerly known as LEGO Dacta) will develop a 2003 curriculum based on Mars Rovers. The LED is also working with The Planetary Society on the "Red Rover Goes to Mars" project.
