How does the Kek Powerizer work?
The Kek Powerizer contains a number of sensors in its head, arms and body, so that you can
play missions. When you move the figure during a mission, the movements are registered on
the LCD display on the back of the Powerizer. For instance, if Jens needs to land during a
flying mission, all you need to do is tilt the Powerizer so that the head points
downwards. Or if a mission requires Jens to swim, rotating his arms will show him swimming
on the LCD!

Can you place the Kek Powerizer in water?
Important: Do NOT place the Kek Powerizer in real water!
Can it communicate with your TV?
YES. The Powerizer has been specially designed to interact with the TV show GALIDOR™:
DEFENDERS OF THE OUTER DIMENSION. If your Kek Powerizer is turned on and facing the TV, it
will respond by speaking, playing sound effects and revealing animations on its LCD
display. Occasionally, the TV show activate new missions and levels for you to enjoy.
Can it interact with web sites?
The Kek Powerizer can communicate with and download new missions and extra features from
www.LEGO.com/galidor which also contains fun games and facts about GALIDOR for you to
discover.
What's the difference between the Jens head and the Gorm head?
When you swap Jens' head for Gorm's, the Powerizer will behave like Gorm instead, interacting
with the TV show and responding in a different way to Jens. Note that you can only use Gorm's
or Jens' head on the figure.
Can you use parts from other GALIDOR action-toy figures together wth your Kek Powerizer?
Do not use parts from other GALIDOR action-toy figures together with your KeK Powerizer.
Can it communicate with other Powerizers?
YES. The Kek Powerizer can swap missions with another Powerizer. For instance, if you don't
have the Hover Glider mission and your friend does, you can swap it for a mission you do
have. The Powerizer can also send out signals to other Powerizers in the area and make them
respond verbally.

How does the Kek Powerizer perform missions?
When you switch on the Powerizer, his LCD will light up and display an icon for the first available
mission called "DEEP-SEA DIVING." Use the scroll buttons on either side of the Powerizer to
scroll through the missions until you find one you want to play. To start playing, press
the Activator button. To move on to another mission, use the scroll buttons.

How many missions are there?
The Kek Powerizer comes with over 23 missions. The following 7 missions are active from
the moment you switch on the Kek Powerizer fitted with Jens' head: Deep-Sea Diving,
Maximum Altitude, Power Banks, Glinch, Portal Entry, Qorium Charge and Trading.
As you play and gain levels, bonus missions will become activated.
When you win a new mission, its icon will be displayed on the LCD and you will
hear the words "new game downloaded!"
Additional missions are activated by the Powerizer interacting with the
GALIDOR TV show, by downloading them from the web site, or by trading with
a friend.

Do missions have levels?
Most of the missions contain five levels of difficulty. You can tell at a glance which
level you have reached by looking for this symbol above the game icon.
When a new level has been reached you'll hear the words "Stand by for upgrade."

What are the missions?
The following missions are active from the start when the Powerizer is fitted
with Jens' head:
DEEP-SEA DIVING
The mission: Take a deep dive and discover what lurks beneath the surface.
How to play: Do not actually place Powerizer in water, but simply tilt the
Powerizer down to pretend to go deeper and tilt up to rise toward the "surface".
If you run out of air, you must take the Powerizer to the surface to replenish
the tanks, or catch the air bubbles that appear from time to time.
Hint: Watch out for FengShar, GormRay and Eelgon. To avoid them, tilt
your Powerizer left, right, up or down.
MAXIMUM ALTITUDE
The mission: Test-fly the Powerizer and return it safely to the ground. Watch
out for Gorm's spawn.
How to play: Tilt the Powerizer up to start flying, and then up and down to
increase and decrease altitude. To release the spawn neutralizers, rotate
the arms (there are two spawn neutralizers in each arm).
Hints: If you shake the Powerizer too much, it will crash. A bar at the bottom
of the LCD shows the altitude. Keep an eye on this-if the Powerizer descends
too far, it will crash into the ground. If you descend at a slow enough pace,
you can land safely.
Don't forget to try this mission when there is another Powerizer close by and
discover what happens!
POWER BANKS
The mission: Use the Outer Dimension powers to send off charges.
How to play: Rotate the arms to release ice beams, telekinesis power,
staff strikes, Ploumbrin Glinch, and Quorium rays. The more you play
this mission, the stronger the powers will get.
Don't forget to try this mission when there is another Powerizer close
by and discover what happens!
GLINCH
The mission: Develop your Powerizer tools to their maximum level.
Hint: The more you play this mission, the more tools you will get. Once
you have more than one tool to choose from, the tools will cycle until
you select the one you want.
Don't forget to try this mission when there is another Powerizer close
by and discover what happens!
PORTAL ENTRY
The mission: Pilot "the Egg" on Outer Dimension flights.
How to play: Tilt the Powerizer to the right or left to navigate in either direction. Use its right arm to trigger the upward thruster and the left arm to trigger the downward thruster.
Hint: Use the thrusters to avoid atmospheric debris.
QUORIUM CHARGE
The mission: Rate the Kek Powerizer energy levels.
How to use: To replenish or view your figure's energy level, select Quorium Charge from the missions. The bottom indicator will show you how much energy you have. If you are in need of energy, the figure will use as many energy packs as needed.
Hint: You can gain more energy packs when you gain more missions and complete the different levels in the missions.
TRADING
The mission: to trade missions with other Kek Powerizers.
How to trade: When you and your friend have agreed which mission you want to trade, activate the trading mission by pressing the Activator button.
Your missions will cycle automatically. When the mission you want to trade appears, move the right arm to select it. You will hear a sound effect when you have selected your mission.
When your friend has also selected the mission to trade, the trade will take place automatically.
- If the display starts flashing and you hear the "Success" sound effect, you know that the trade has been completed. When the trading icon reappears on the display, you can scroll to your new mission and play with it.
- If you hear the "fail" sound effect, the trade did not succeed. Try trading again, making sure the figures are facing each other and are about 1 foot (30 cm) apart.
If you decide that you do not want to trade your mission, press any of the buttons before the "success" sound effect has been played.
Note: You can only trade one mission at a time with one other player at a time. Once you have traded your mission it will no longer be available to you. If you want to get the mission back, check Galidor.com for missions, or retrieve it from your friend. A mission starts at level 1 when traded.

The following missions are activated as bonuses:
DODGE IT
The mission: Avoid Gorm's spawn with fast body moves.
How to play: Move the Powerizer in a different direction from the spawn to avoid it. Jens will alert you as to which direction they are heading from.
TUNE UP!
The mission: Tune the Powerizer's body powers with these action sequences.
How to play: The sequences must be copied accurately. They become increasingly difficult as you work your way up the levels.
SWIMMING RACE
The mission: Be the fastest swimmer in the Outer Dimension.
How to play: To start swimming, rotate the Powerizer's arms-though never actually play with the Powerizer in water.
Hint: The faster you rotate the arms, the faster your figure will "swim", but you also drain your energy more quickly-a steady rotation is needed to maintain energy.
BULL'S-EYE
The mission: Develop your targeting skills and strength with this practice mission.
How to play: Rotate either of the Powerizer's arm to throw the ball at the target. The longer you rotate the arm, the further the ball will be thrown.
Don't forget to try this mission when there is another Powerizer close by and discover what happens!
HOVER GLIDER
The mission: Fend off Gorm's spawn while hovering on the glider.
How to play: Tilt the Powerizer to the left or right to help Jens stay on the board. To release the neutralizers, rotate the arms (there are two spawn neutralizers in each arm).
Hint: Save up your spawn neutralizers and use them wisely.
Don't forget to try this mission when there is another Powerizer close by and discover what happens!
INTRUDER ALERT
The mission: Neutralize intruders.
How to play: Once you have set the alarm (by pressing the Activator button), any movement the Powerizer experiences will trigger the alarm sound. If you place it on top of your computer's keyboard, for instance, and someone comes along and moves it, the alarm will sound.
Hint: There is a time limit of 30 minutes on this mission. After this time, the Powerizer will switch off.
DROP ZONE
The mission: Parachute safely on changing worlds.
How to play: Tilt the Powerizer to the left and right to move the parachutist toward the target. Watch out for winds that can blow you off course.
Hint: The higher the level, the smaller the landing area.
SHIELD
The mission: Fend off power charges and keep your energy levels.
How to play: You can receive power charges from either the top right or top left of your LCD display. By moving an arm in the direction the charge is coming from, you will be able to block it.
Hint: After a hit from a power charge, shake your figure to restore the shield.
OUTER DIMENSION VIRUSES
The mission: Infect Powerizers with Outer Dimension viruses.
How to play: As you advance through the levels, more viruses become available: sneezing, hiccups, coughing or laughing. Select the virus you want to use by pressing the Activator button. This will infect your own figure and any others close by for a short period of time.
SOOTHSAYER
The mission: Influences the answers to your questions.
How to play: Ask the soothsayer a question, and it will give you an answer.
Hint: You can influence what the soothsayer says by tilting the Powerizer to the right for a positive answer and left for a negative one. The Powerizer will move on to the next answer after a little while.
TRACKING
The mission: Scan and detect hiding Powerizers.
How to play: If a Powerizer is detected, your figure will notify you verbally.
ROAD ROCKET
The mission: Race the Powerizer round the track. Avoid oil spills, take curves and don't run red lights.
How to play: Use the left arm to honk the horn, use the right arm to brake, and tilt left or right to steer.
Hint: If you drive off the road (for example, by turning when the road is going straight), you will crash.

What can the Gorm head do?
You can transform the Kek Powerizer by attaching Gorm's head onto the figure. The Powerizer will then behave as Gorm. This is the only option to Jens' head.
When you attach Gorm's head, your figure will have 3 Gorm features. You can browse through them by pressing the scroll buttons. In addition, your figure will interact with the GALIDOR TV show and the GALIDOR web site in a special way.
LAUGH
Press the Activator button to activate Gorm's laugh. Shake the figure to hear again.
GORM'S BAD DAY
Press the Activator button to activate Gorm's complaints. Shake the figure to hear again.
GORM'S PHRASEBOOK
Press the Activator button to activate a typical Gorm statement. Shake the figure to hear a random comment.

How can you use the Kek Powerizer to interact with the GALIDOR TV show?
The Powerizer can respond to the TV show either with speech, with sound effects or by displaying a picture on the display on its back. It can also acquire new missions from a GALIDOR™ episode.
Follow the guidelines below for best results:
- Turn your figure on.
- The volume on your TV must be at a normal listening level.
- No missions can be active on the figure (press one of the scroll bottoms to ensure that no missions are active).
- The figure should be equipped with either Jens' or Gorm's head.
- It must be placed between 2 and 8 feet (0.5 and 2.5 meters) in front of and facing the TV speakers.
- Do not block the microphone located below the neck-the Powerizer needs to be able to hear the TV show in order to respond.
- Keep any loud noises such as appliances or loud music away from your television while watching the show.
- GALIDOR is an indoor toy and as such should not be taken outside.
- If you experience any problems, check the FAQs section of this manual for further information.

Can I test the Powerizer before the TV show begins?
To test whether your figure is able to receive signals, go to www.LEGO.com/galidor and follow the instructions.
How can you use the Kek Powerizer to interact with a PC?
When using the Powerizer to communicate with a PC, make sure that it is directly in front of your computer's speakers (no further than 3 feet/1 meter away) so that it can receive the signals.
The address for the web site is www.LEGO.com/galidor.
At the site you will find more information and additional, as well as the Powerizer missions.
How can you use the Kek Powerizer to interact with other Powerizers?
The Powerizer can send signals to other Powerizers, allowing them to interact with each other either verbally or with sound effects. The Powerizers can also trade missions and features with each other, see section TRADING under Missions for more information. You need to make sure that the Powerizers are no further than 3 feet/1 meter apart and facing each other. See the mission descriptions to find out which missions allow for Powerizer interaction.

Troubleshooting
Do I need to reset my Powerizer?
For a normal reset push only the reset button. You should use this reset button if the figure is not responding to input from the user (buttons, sensors, sound). When you use normal reset, the figure will switch off without making any sound. You can then turn the figure back on by pushing the Activator button. This type of reset will not alter the state of your figure.
For a factory reset, hold down the left scroll button and then push the reset button. Release the reset button but do not release the left scroll button until the GALIDOR™ logo appears. You should use this method if you want your figure to be reset to its original, factory state. A figure that has been reset using the factory reset method will have only the first seven missions active, and all of these will be at level 1. All downloaded data will be lost.
Can I use other heads apart from Jens and Gorm?
The Powerizer will only perform as Jens if it has Jens' head attached.
If you attach a Gorm head, the Powerizer will act like Gorm.
If you attach any other head or limb, the figure will display the "attach head" icon and its functions will not work.
I watch my television via the VCR tuner through an aerial cable connection, but I don't seem to be able to receive the signals. What's wrong?
Your TV is playing back the stereo sound as a mono signal. Try adjusting the balance of the sound to left or right so that the sound signal is played back through only one speaker.*
My figure does not respond to other Powerizers.
1) The figures are too far apart. Move them closer together and try again.
2) The figures aren't facing each other. For best results place them facing each other. Make sure that you haven't covered the speaker and microphone units on either figure.
3) Try switching the figure off and then on again. Alternatively, you can try to perform a normal reset on the figure.
My figure does not respond to the GALIDOR TV show.
1) Look at the diagram in this manual to see where you should place the Powerizer for best reception.
2) Is the Powerizer facing the TV? The figure's microphone has to face the TV speaker, and there must be an unobstructed line of vision from the speaker to the microphone (you may get a better result if the figure is closest to one of the speakers).
3) Do your TV speakers face toward the front or toward the side? Some TVs have the speakers built into the side, which can cause poor reception of the signal in the figure. You'll have to move the figure so that it is facing the speaker.
4) Some special sound settings on your TV can influence reception and should be turned off when watching the GALIDOR TV show and using the Kek Powerizer.
- Is your treble level on the TV set correctly? Some TVs allow you to change treble and bass settings. Check that the treble level is set to neutral-if not, then adjust this setting.
- Remember to keep the volume at a normal level.
- If you record the TV show and then play it back, the signal may be distorted, affecting your figure's ability to pick it up. We recommend using Hi-fi Stereo VCR in SP recording mode.
*If you have trouble finding the settings either on your TV or VCR, always check the manufacturer's manual for more information about your appliance.
I have traded away some missions and I would like to get them back.
If you cannot get them by trading, then you have the option of performing a factory reset. A factory reset will return your figure to the state it had when you turned it on for the very first time. This will mean that only the seven missions that you originally started out with will be available, and all missions will be returned to level 1. You can now regain missions by playing and reaching higher levels as you did before.
However, be careful when using factory reset: Missions acquired from TV, games or the web site can ONLY be acquired again by the same method.
