Responsible Business Principles
We are a member of the ICTI Ethical Toy Program and support industry collaboration to address common challenges and reduce audit fatigue. While we accept IETP audit reports as a means of evaluating supplier compliance, we also apply our own standards and requirements and conduct our own visits and monitoring of supplier performance.
In 2019, one supplier to the LEGO Group was included in a report from China Labor Watch alleging poor working conditions at Chinese factories. We take such findings very seriously and are working with the supplier and the ICTI Ethical Toy Programme (IETP) to conduct a thorough review of conditions at the factory to address the issues raised.
An empowering partnershipRead about the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) set by UN Women to guide us on our journey of equality and inclusivity.
A diverse and inclusive LEGO GroupIt is our ambition to build a truly diverse and inclusive organization that helps us reach and inspire all children, regardless of who they are or where they come from.
A family-friendly workplaceOur mission is “to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow”, and therefore it is important for the LEGO Group to be a family-friendly workplace. We also aspire to promote family-friendly workplaces across our supply chain.
