Connecting with Bluetooth to LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 apps
You can use Bluetooth to communicate wirelessly between the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 Intelligent Brick and EV3 Programmer or Programming app!
First, follow these steps to set up Bluetooth on your EV3 Brick:
- Use the arrow buttons to choose Bluetooth in the 'Settings' screen on the EV3 Brick. A pop-up will appear with a list of options.
- Using the up and down buttons, highlight 'Bluetooth', then press the center button. A check mark will appear in the Bluetooth box. You’ve enabled Bluetooth and should see a
icon in the top left of the P-Brick display.
You’ll only be able to connect to an iOS device like an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch if the 'iPhone/iPad/iPod' option is checked. Make sure this option isn’t checked if you’re using a different device.
