Greetings and underwater bubbles, dear Sea Life Friends! The Sea Life Friends pledges are booming thanks to you, and the sea lions are here with the latest update. 115, 587 Sea Life Friends have signed pledges now – can you believe it! Imagine what we can all do together to help save the oceans! The sea lions have been teaching all their new friends how to spin, flip and jump in and out of the water. And they have learned that not all sea animals love to bask on the sunny shores of the reef, like sea lions do. In fact, most are happier under water all the time! We still have two more weeks to make even MORE Sea Life Friends. Spread the word – like rings in the water! See you back here next week for more updates.
Thank you from the Narwhal!
Listen… Can you hear that? It’s whale song, coming from the LEGO® Friends reef! If you close your eyes (not until you stop reading, of course), maybe you can imagine what the whale is singing about? It’s been several weeks since our first Sea Life Friends took their first summer swim in the reef. And we are not surprised the whale is bursting into song. We’re so happy, we could sing, too! Why? Because we are now 123,107 Sea Life Friends – all learning more about the oceans every day! And we still have 1 more week to go. Have you told all your friends about your pledge? Let’s make a splash together that will make waves all over the world!
How to build a tropical LEGO® fish
Did you know you can find around 9 million species of marine life and sea creatures in coral reefs around the world? Coral reefs are like the rainforests of the sea. You can discover almost any color, shape and creature you can imagine somewhere! And more are found every year. Maybe one day YOU will discover a new fish? What do you think it will look like? Until then, you can build your own new species of tropical fish. If you need inspiration, download these easy instructions. We have used bricks found in the 41376 Turtle Rescue Mission set, but you can use any colors or shapes you already have. Dive in and share your build here on LEGO® Life! Want to become a Sea Life Friend? Here’s how: 1. Push the purple pledge button 2. Download, print and sign the pledge to do your best to take care of the sea and all life inside it!
