The LEGO Group donates DKK 5.5 million to support earthquake relief

The LEGO Group have announced an emergency donation of DKK 5.5 million to the Danish Red Cross to support relief efforts following the devastating earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. In addition, earlier this week the Ole Kirk Fond announced it was donating DKK 4.5 million also to the Danish Red Cross taking the total contribution by owner family entities to DKK 10 million (approx. US$1.4 million).

Our friends at the LEGO Foundation are continuing their work with long-standing partners including the Sesame Workshop, International Rescue Committee, Education Cannot Wait (ECW) and Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants (ASAM), to support children in Türkiye and Syria.

We are grateful for the tireless efforts of rescue workers and send our deepest sympathies to those affected by the earthquake.
