Are you in your final year of study in the fields of communication, marketing, public relations, social sciences, media or IT? Then you might be the new intern in the LEGO communication strategy department.We are looking for a dynamic colleague who is a self-starter and has a get-stuff-done attitude. In the communication strategy team, you will get a chance to work in the engine room where LEGO advertising campaigns are first ideated, stress-tested, planned and executed. On a day to day basis, we deep-dive into what kids and their parents like, and try to constantly build LEGO love. We are part of the LEGO Group’s internal advertising agency.

As an intern in our team, you will help the strategists write advertising toolboxes and playbooks. You will help maintain a global database of campaigns and assets to enable the company to keep track of the content that is created in the LEGO agency. You will maintain an overview of the strategy projects covered by the LEGO Agency. You will also be encouraged to work on a project of your own creation for up to 50% of your time.

We expect you to already have the following skills:

• In depth mastery of Powerpoint and Excel;
• An ability to quickly learn new software;
• English at a fluent level.

It also helps to have:

• Knowledge of a second language;
• Experience studying or working in multicultural environments;
• Experience working with media (student newspapers, public social media channels etc.);
• Graphic design skills.

We know you are here to learn and don’t expect you to know everything, but we expect you to be hungry for knowledge.

LEGO is an equal opportunity employer and we strongly encourage people from diverse and multicultural backgrounds to apply. If you do not have a student compensation via the state (for example SU in Denmark), you can expect to receive sufficient compensation to cover your cost-of-living expenses during your internship. Unpaid interns can, under certain circumstances, be compensated for their transport/housing expenses.

The internship is expected to last 6 months and start in August or September 2019.

If you are interested in this position, please apply with a CV and short cover letter before May 20th 2019.
