Are you interested in leading the implementation of the Child Safeguarding Policy in global recruitment processes for the LEGO Group?

As project manager you are implementing the requirements of the LEGO Group Child Safeguarding Policy in global recruitment processes for screening of relevant candidates to prevent unsuitable individuals from working with children within activities related to the LEGO Group!

Core Responsibilities

• Develop strong global processes and guidance documents to ensure consistent screening of candidates (e.g. position profile formats, job advertisement requirements, process for obtaining child protection certificates, self-declaration forms)
• Ensure strong stakeholder alignment and communication (e.g. HR organisation, Social Responsibility and Engagement, Global Works Council, Legal, External partners)
• Drive implementation of global processes locally with support from local stakeholders (in 7 countries across the globe)
• Work with the Legal team to finalise legal guidance documents for all relevant countries
• Draw overview of high risk employees to be in scope of screening criteria on a country base

The project is run by the Social Responsibility & Engagement team who is bringing our Planet Promise actions, defining and delivering the LEGO Group’s responsibility objectives and priorities within the social area through various social impact and compliance programmes. This position will play a key role in implementing the LEGO Group Child Safeguarding Policy across our core human resource processes and activities.
The goal is to ensure that the LEGO Group takes the necessary steps in implementing the requirements of the LEGO Group Child Safeguarding Policy in global recruitment processes for screening of relevant candidates to prevent unsuitable individuals from working with children within activities related to the LEGO Group.

The position will report to the Head of Talent Operations in Singapore but will on a day-to-day basis work close with the Child Safeguarding Lead in the Social Responsibility & Engagement team in the LEGO Headquarters in Billund, Denmark.

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in a business-related/Social worker/Legal/Human Resources field or equivalent working experience
• 5-10 years of relevant working experience in leading and managing global projects or driving human resource or social responsibility initiatives
• Experience in mapping and implementing human resource processes
• Ideally working for a global brand or in a global team
• Strong communication & stakeholder management
• Solution seeker with can do attitude
• Proven track record on remote leadership
• English is the working language and Mandarin language knowledge is an advantage (to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking associates)

Nice-to-have qualifications:
• Experience within recruitment
• Experience with SAP
• GDPR/IPR experience
