You will need:
Assorted colored card (pink, yellow, orange, green, lime green, black, and white)
Large hole punch
Step 1: Use scissors to round off each corner of pink and yellow card. Round off the entire top half of the green card. These are the bases for the different masks.
Step 10: The three masks should look something like this.
Step 11: Use sticky tape to secure a paper straw to the back of each mask.
Step 2: Use a hole punch to create six black, and six white circles for eyes. Use scissors to trim the black circles, and then use glue to stick them onto the white circles, making sure the edges meet. Cut six 1/4in (6mm) circles from the remaining white card, and then glue one to the edge of each black circle.
Step 3: To make the worm face, use scissors to cut the lime green card in half horizontally. Snip 1in (2.5cm) off of both sides. Round off the left and right corners along the bottom, and then round off the entire top half.
Step 4: Use scissors to cut two antennae from the lime green card, as well as a smirking smile from the black card.
Step 5: Use glue to stick all of the elements to the green base. Allow to dry.
Step 6: To make the bunny face, use scissors to cut a sheet of white card in half length-ways. Round off each corner, and then cut a small arc shape into one of the long ends. Cut four whiskers, a pair of eyelashes, a mouth, and the outline of two teeth from the black card. Cut two 2in (5cm) squares and a small triangle shape from the pink card. Round off the edges of the squares and triangle.
Step 7: Use glue to stick the squares to the back of the pink base, so that the shapes peek out about 1in (2.5cm) from the top. Stick the eyelashes to the back of the eyes, and then glue the eyes, nose, mouth, teeth outline, and whiskers to the base.
Step 8: To make the chick face, use scissors to cut a pair of eyelashes and a smile from the black card, a beak from the orange card, and two 2in (5cm) squares from the yellow card. Round off the edges of the squares.
Step 9: Use glue to stick the squares to the back of the yellow base. Stick the eyelashes to the eyes, and the smile to the beak. Finally, stick the eyes and beak onto the base.
Top tip: When the children have decided which mask they want, write their names on the back. It will avoid any confusion as to whose mask is whose at the end of the party!
