Are you our new Toolmaker/Repairman, for evening or weekend shift?

Are you a quality conscious toolmaker with eye for details, do you strive for making a difference? Do you strive in a hectic workday, where you analyze and solve problems on moulds.

About mould qualification

Mould Qualifiction (MQ) receives the new injection moulds form both internal and external suppliers, the moulds are tested, adjusted and optimized before the are going through final inspection and shipped to the different production sites. The moulds we qualify are all different types of moulds, making all different types of LEGO elements
MQ is a department within Engineering. We have 30 injection moulding machines of different types and brands and equipment, representing what we have on the different production sites, besides that we have a technical department.
In the part of the tool shop where we adjust, we use the following machines, Lathe machine, spark erode, cylindrical grinder, plan grinder, universal grinder, and coordinate grinder.

Your tasks would be:

• Analyze and solve mould problems.
• Adjust and fit mould parts.
• Polishing and other manual tasks.
• Collaborate across departments.
• Participate in small projects.
Challenges and opportunitets You will become part of a team with 20 colleagues. The team is and has to be, in the absolute world class within qualifying moulds for our global production, together with gathering important knowledge about optimizing and documenting it in standards.
You will be working with the newest technologies within injection moulding, there will be possibilities for developing your hard skills in collaboration with your colleagues, which is crucial for LEGO
We are the last part of the chain before the production of bricks, and the vision is to reach more children.
