Are you interested in driving awareness while collaborating to make an impact on social media channels?The Americas Digital Marketing Team helps to shape the global digital marketing agenda, translates Global strategies into lead market and regional AMS priorities, and creates regional frameworks for local execution in the US, CA, and LATAM.
Core Responsibilities•Working as part of a cross-functional team with key stakeholders within the AMS marketing team, the Mexico + LATAM marketing team, the AMS brand marketing team, the AMS social media content creation team and the Consumer Services team, to grow and engage local audiences across the social media ecosystem
•Creating local content calendar, translating (from English to Spanish), localising and writing original social media copy and publishing relevant content for LATAM audiences across a local social media channels
•Ensuring all engagement with LATAM audiences across our LEGO channels is conducted in a timely fashion with the appropriate tone of voice, through close collaboration with our Consumer Services team
•Setting up and daily monitoring of local social media listening topics for campaigns, moments and trends. Using this insight to identify short-term opportunities for change and feeding insights into the EMEA social media content creation team to influence production of locally relevant content
•Collaborating with Brand and Digital Managers to identify and feed into Mexico + LATAM campaign and real-time content opportunities, enhancing the local social experience
•Work with internal agency to create regular local social media content and channel reporting and providing agile, actionable insights
•Identifying (through social listening) and engaging in real-time with key influencers in Mexico + LATAM that are talking about the LEGO brand across social media channels
•Activating and optimising always-on and reactive paid social media campaigns when relevant
•Living and breathing the local mindset by understanding commercial and audience priorities, using data and insights to challenge the status quo and consistently influencing content, channel and local audience development through new insights and ideas
Do you have what it takes?•Bachelor’s degree preferred (within Marketing or Media preferred)
•Experience engaging professionally with consumers through social media and online communities (3+ years)
•Deep understanding of the social media ecosystem, with experience working for a brand or company with over 100k followers across social platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat
•Hands on experience setting up and monitoring social media listening topics, identifying trends and engagement opportunities, and using insights to shape future content creation
•Social media reporting capabilities and ability to connect social media KPIs with overall marketing and business objectives
•Experience activating paid social media campaigns (particularly across Facebook and Instagram)
•Experience briefing and/or producing social media content
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
•Ability & willingness to travel, mainly within the US + LATAM
•Local or Regional level experience considered as an advantage
•Editorial copywriting experience would be highly advantageous
•Experience engaging with influencers through social media platforms is highly advantageous
•Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team is desired
•Willingness to be part of a team based across multiple countries
•Passion for the brand and related subject matter to the LEGO Group and our product portfolio considered important
The role will require strong native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish. Advanced English language is also required.
Proficiency in Portuguese a bonus.
