Your specific tasks include:•Accountable for implementation of end-to-end people agenda in designated business areas
•Serves as coach and sparring partner for leaders and leadership teams, focusing on driving performance, team effectiveness and ways of working
•Secures strong deployment and impact of PO&D core processes including but not limited to Performance Management Program, Talent reviews, Upwards Leader Feedback & PULSE
•Drives initiatives, in close partnership with business leaders, related to org design, talent management and engagement agenda (outside of standard PO&D Processes)
•Accountable for governance in own area (org design principles i.e. spans and layers, FTR baseline etc), using the toolbox provided by Reward & Insights
•Leverages Centers of Expertise as necessary to drive global coherence and one PO&D agenda
•Contributes to and/or drives PO&D initiatives impacting global business area with broader impact outside of designated business areas.
Challenges and OpportunitiesPartnering & Operations plays a key role in delivering the PO&D agenda, ultimately enabling the success of the business. The responsibilities in Partnering & Operations include Employee Relations, Benefits, Policy Governance and Business Partnering. Within Partnering, we collaborate with LEGO’s Centers of Expertise (Talent, Reward & Insights), to execute the HR Core Processes and drive strategic initiatives related to change management, leadership development and talent management.
This role will provide PO&D Partnership to the LEGO Education business based in Boston, Massachusetts. This includes the North American LE sales team and Branding, Insights & Communications global team. This role will also contribute to and own global initiatives to be applied to entire LEGO Education organization.
Do you have what it takes?•BA degree required
•Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience in various HR roles, ideally with an international organization, or similar relevant experience.
•Experience coaching and challenging senior level leaders.
•Experience successfully collaborating across a matrix organization ie. Utilizing expertise of others to elevate your own results and lending your expertise to others.
•Must have, at minimum, contributed to the design and development of a holistic people & culture and strategy specific to a designated area of the business.
•Experience in successfully identifying and leveraging data insights to build a case for an initiative or actions.
•Must have experience operating independently including identification of short to medium-term business needs and execution of corresponding actions.
•Basic proficiency in Microsoft office applications specifically Power Point and Excel.
•Previous experience as an HR Business Partner and solid business acumen is a strong plus.
•Proven ability to influence others and gain followership both within the HR functional area and the business
•Experience managing employee relations and recruitment a plus.
•Experience sitting in a different location from a core HR team.
•Experience working with SAP or other reporting systems
