Bring your sales, relationships building and leadership expertise to the table to continue to drive strong collaboration and provide strong business results.

Your specific tasks include:

•Create the strategic framework for Target annual business plans.
•Develop and sustain close collaborative interaction with Target buying, planning, replenishment, and internal colleagues across many disciplines within LEGO.
• Utilize strong negotiation and customer management skills, as well as responsiveness and attention to detail.
•Support and coach team members on the business team to ensure capability development of Key Account Manager skills and best in class Customer Pulse results.
•Deliver the agreed upon profit contribution in line with the overall company revenue and profit objectives.
•Lead promotional funding and collaborates with Target on how to best utilize funds while focusing on driving sales in a profitable manner.
•Develop brand awareness and provides “strategic thought leadership” to the Target buying, planning, and marketing functions.
•Develop and execute a rich and engaging annual marketing plan which helps achieve scorecard objectives, while differentiating Target within the market.

The Key Account Director position gives you the opportunity to work with a large retailer and be part of a high performing team that delivers consistent results. Do you have what it takes?

•Bachelor’s degree in a business related field.
•3-5 years related experience in consumer packaged goods.
•2 years of selling experience.
•Exceed performance expectations in all previous positions held.
•Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills, and self-motivation.
•Learning and guiding high level Key Account Manager expertise including strategic negotiation skills, strategic planning, inventory management, forecasting, team building, and turning strategic plans into accomplishments.
•Demonstrate critical thinking, strong analytical skills, results-orientation and flexibility in a dynamic team environment.
•Manage within an established budget.
•Present oneself as a role model and a teammate.
•Willingness to travel – as needed (bi-monthly domestic travel 1-2 nights, annual international travel 3 nights).
