- August 8th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0That's gold, Jerry! GOLD!I would recommend this to a friend!I can't recall the last time I smiled until my cheeks hurt. I seriously geeked out building this, every reference I pointed to saying, "That's from that episode!" I'm going to be completely biased this whole review because Seinfeld is my favourite sitcom of all time and, rightfully so. I want to pay some attention to the build overall, and I must say it was enjoyable, the colours I feel were accurate, the show did change a lot; unnoticeably at times between seasons, so I don't blame them if EVERYTHING isn't "spot-on." All in all, this set is everything a Seinfeld fan such as myself could have ever hoped for, and I'm so glad it finally got its recognition in LEGO form. It's truly a set I will cherish for years to come!Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Seinfeld
- August 1st, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0The best, Jerry! The BEST!I would recommend this to a friend!Seinfeld is my favorite sitcom of all time so this was an absolute no brainer for me, no matter how it turned out. Luckily, it turned out beautifully. The details are absolutely perfect, the references are terrific (I just realized what one of them was today but I won't spoil it) and it all just looks RIGHT. It went a little too quickly but maybe I just blew through this faster than normal because I couldn't wait to see the end result. It's better than pictures. The minifigures are hilarious, I just love Jerry's mullet. That thing really was out of control for the entire series, at some point seeming like he may achieve liftoff. Would've been nice to have an alternate George face but when you think about it, that really does best represent his personality best. Elaine and Kramer and Newman are all spot on, too. I added a Soup World War II Bad Guy (just in case the real word doesn't fly on here) and it rounds it all out splendidly. This is already in my top five. Maybe a Monk's Diner could be next? Anyway, I love this set so much. I've taken a pictures of a few scenes and they turned out pretty well. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty well. Wait, wrong show.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Seinfeld
- August 15th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0I enjoyed this as much as the risotto!Adam B. |I would recommend this to a friend! As soon as I saw the article announcing this set I knew I was buying it and it did not disappoint! Like a lot of other reviewers have mentioned, there are so many little details that really make this set special for fans of the show. I would love to see this become it’s own Lego series with different outfits like the Puffy Shirt or George’s Gore-Tex parka. It would also be great to have additional sets like Monk’s, the Chinese Restaurant, the Parking Garage, or the Soup N-azi’s counter. Maybe even a NY block with Kramer getting ripped off by “street toughs”. Worth every penny!Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Seinfeld
- December 27th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0These Pretzels Are Making Me ThirstyI would recommend this to a friend!Being able to build this set was an opportunity and a half. Now that I'm on season 8 of the show, building it has helped me appreciate the ins and outs of the references such as Uncle Leo, Elaine's goldfish, Kramer's coffee table book about coffee tables and the Commando 8 air conditioner. Even Jerry's stand-up comedy display was fun to build. While I do wish we could've had an alternative shirt for Jerry (I.E. The puffy shirt from "The Puffy Shirt"), the choice of clothing for everyone is a nice touch. Some of the other various references such as Prognosis Negative and Vandelay Industries were fun to put together. The stickers weren't as a hinderance this time as using the brick remover also doubled as a sticker placement tool. The only real complaint I have about this set are the studio lights. I felt like when I was done, they took away from the overall uniqueness of the set but I do understand why LEGO included them. I would've also liked for George to have an alternate face look on the other side but that's a nitpick more than a negative. Overall, LEGO knocked it out of the park for Seinfeld fans and enthusiasts and even if you aren't a fan, building this might make you want to watch the show.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Seinfeld
