As mom to a lifelong LEGO builder, and also having grown up with LEGO myself, this little fig touches my heart. It is an exquisite piece of lovely woodwork which can be displayed as is. It presently sits next to a fine art horse sculpture in my home & holds its own proudly. Given that my son & I used to create wool felt works together when he was a child, I can see adding a little felt vest & hat to the piece for special occasions. The best part about this piece is how it represents the beginnings of LEGO, honoring the beauty of toy making with wood. I will cherish this gift. I look forward to seeing more from LEGO in the form of sustainably produced wooden toys in the future. I welcome the blend of the historical with the modern. - November 8th, 2019Average rating1out of 5 stars1.0Dissapointed, definately not worth it.Purchased for: SelfSo I stayed up late the night before it was to be released for VIP members to make sure we were able to get one thinking it would be a great display piece. When the figure arrived I noticed that the box wasn't sealed and that it was lose in the box its shipped in. Now that just made me grumble until I opened the figure box and the first thing I noticed was the globs of glue holding the arms in place. There was nothing in the description to indicate that the arms didn't move but the fact that when they glued the arms they used so much that it started squeezing out the sides and is extremely visible at first look. I understood about the hands being plastic so they didn't break when you tried to put things in them. But to glue down the arms and then charge $120.00 is almost insulting.November 14, 2019Emily, Customer ServiceThanks for your review. Have you taken your minifigure out of the box? There are clear straps holding the minifig in place, which can look like the arms are glued. While glue isn't used there, the arms do not move. The only point of articulation is the hands, which can turn to hold things at different angles.Play Experience1.0Value for Money1.0Building Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?15LEGO® Wooden Minifigure

I was a bit reluctant to purchase this after reading a few of the negative reviews but I’m so glad I got one. It’s really well made and crafted so it’s well worth the money in my opinion and I’m sure it will be a big collectible in years gone bye. The extra Lego pieces and booklet you get with it are a bonus too and it comes in a lovely strong storage box.
