LEGO® NASCAR® Kid Zone Prize Giveaway

OFFICIAL RULES AND DATA PRIVACY NOTICE

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER AND WIN A PRIZE.
MANY WILL ENTER NATIONWIDE; THREE WINNERS WILL RECEIVE A PRIZE

Overview: Build a LEGO® brick race car and share a picture on Instagram or Twitter for a chance to win one of three LEGO® Technic™ NASCAR® Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 sets.

This Prize Giveaway (the “Competition”) is sponsored by LEGO Systems, Inc. (“LSI”), 100 Print Shop Road, Enfield, CT 06082.

By participating in this Competition, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

IMPORTANT DATA PRIVACY NOTICE:

LSI will collect the following personal information from all Entrants:

Your Instagram or Twitter Username

If you are selected as a Potential Winner, LSI will also ask you to provide:

Your name
Your date of birth
Your email address
Your mailing address

LSI will use the information we collect from you (and share it with selected third parties) solely for the following purposes:

To run the Competition
Solely as necessary to communicate with you on an ongoing basis
regarding the Competition
To comply with relevant laws and regulations

We will delete your data according to the below schedule:

When we have satisfied our legal obligations relating to this
Contest, but in no event longer than three years after the Prizes
have been awarded to the Winners.

The categories of third parties who we will share the data with are:

Cloud services provider which supports our online platform
Postal or other delivery services in order to ship Prizes to the
Winners
Third parties requesting winner information (as required by law)
Governmental authorities (as required by law)

OFFICIAL RULES

Eligibility: To enter this Competition you must be 13 years of age or older and be a resident of the United States of America. A parent who is at least 18 years of age and is an adult under the laws of their home state, district or territory may enter in their own name on behalf of their child who is under the age of 13.

You are not eligible to enter if you are an employee, partner or immediate family member of an employee of the LEGO Group or any third party company or agency directly connected with the creation or administration of this Promotion.

Entry Period: You must submit your Entry on the day of one of the following 2023 NASCAR race events, during the time when the LEGO® NASCAR® Kid Zone is open—typically between 7 AM and 8 PM.

How to enter: During the Entry Period stop by LEGO® NASCAR® Kid Zone and build a race car from the LEGO® parts provided. Place your race car in the race-themed LEGO® brick diorama in the Kid Zone, and upload a picture to your Instagram or Twitter account using the hashtag “#LEGONASCAR,” and tagging the Instagram or Twitter LEGO Group account: “@LEGO” for Instagram or “@LEGOGroup” for Twitter. You will then be entered into the Competition.

No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition. Making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning a Prize.

Limitation on entry: One Entry per person during the Entry Period. If more than one Entry per participant is received during the Entry Period, only the first Entry will be included and later Entries will be disqualified.

Prize: Three Winners will each receive one LEGO® Technic™ NASCAR® Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 building toy set (#42153). The approximate retail value of each prize is $49.99.

The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. The prize is subject to availability and the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

Selection of Potential Winners and Odds of Winning: Three Potential Winners will be selected from among all properly submitted Entries, using an automated random selection process, by the members of the LEGO Marketing Team (the “Judges”). The selection process will take place at LSI’s Enfield, Connecticut headquarters at approximately 12:00 noon on or about November 8th 2023. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible Entries received from Entrants at all participating NASCAR race events listed above.

Claiming the Prize: The Potential Winner will be contacted via direct message to the Entrant’s Instagram or Twitter account of record on November 14th, 2023. Potential Winners have three days from the date of notification to confirm their eligibility and return a completed Winner’s Certification email message, as more fully described below. If any Potential Winner cannot be contacted, has not claimed their prize within three days of notification, or fails to properly return the required Winner’s Certification message, a new Potential Winner will be randomly selected from all remaining valid Entries received, in accordance with the selection procedure above.

Certification of Potential Winners and Award of Prizes: The Potential Winner will be required to complete and return a Winner’s Certification message by email, consisting of (i) a statement of eligibility and prize acceptance; (ii) a release of liability; and (iii) a publicity release (except were prohibited by law). Upon receipt of the fully executed Winners’ Certification message, and confirmation by the Judges, each Potential Winner will be certified as a “Winner.”

Prizes will be shipped to Winners at Sponsor’s expense on or about November 21st 2023.. At Sponsor’s sole discretion, instead of receiving the physical set, Winners may receive a voucher which may be exchanged for the Prize set at a local retailer.

Data Privacy: By entering the Promotion, you agree to your personal information being used for the purposes described in the above Data Privacy Notice and in these Official Rules, and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found at http://aboutus.lego.com/enus/corporate/privacypolicy.aspx.
The company responsible for handling all privacy data is LEGO System A/S, Aastvej 1, 7190 Billund, Denmark.

By entering the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Privacy Policy and you agree to its terms.

Additional Rules

All Entries shall become the property of Sponsor and may be used for
other marketing activities.
If you are the Winner, you agree that the Sponsor may use your first
name and town of residence to announce the Winner of this
Competition.
This Competition is in no way sponsored or administered by Instagram
or Twitter, which bear no responsibility for the execution of this
Competition.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, mutilated,
incomplete, or illegible entry materials, or for Entries not received
prior to the entry deadline.
Sponsor is not responsible for printing or typograhical errors; in no
event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.
The Sponsor or shall not have any liability and does not accept any
damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by Entrants of this
Competition to the extent permitted by law. Nothing shall exclude the
Sponsor’s liability for death and personal injury as a result of
Sponsor’s negligence.
Any Entry made or attempted in a manner which in the Sponsor’s
reasonable opinion is contrary to the spirit of these Official Rules,
or by its nature is unfair to other entrants will be invalid and may
result in your disqualification from the Competition.
Reporting prize winnings and paying any applicable taxes,
governmental fees, and other expenses resulting from winning a prize
are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner unless otherwise
stated; Winners are encouraged to check local tax implications.

These Official Rules shall be governed and construed in accordance
with the laws of the State of Connecticut.
