        FARMER

“All in a day’s work!” Every day, the hard-working Farmer gets up at sunrise when the rooster crows. He puts on his overalls, his well-worn boots and his old brown hat, and he goes outside to slop the pigs, milk the cows and feed the horses. After that, it’s time to collect fresh eggs from the henhouse, chase the crows off of the scarecrow, and straighten up the crop circles left behind by visiting aliens. Oh, did we forget to mention the aliens? They’re kind of pests, what with the scorch-marks from their saucer engines and all of the strange symbols they leave in the fields, but the Farmer was taught to always be nice to his neighbors (even ones from the next galaxy over), so he makes sure to leave some hot oatmeal and cider out for them when he goes to bed. In return, they’ve given him the fanciest flying tractor in the whole town!

          Pro Surfer

“No sea bass is going to out-surf me!” The super-competitive Pro Surfer always wanted to be the greatest in the world. He used only the best gear from the best brands. He appeared in TV commercials and did plenty of product endorsements, but it always felt like something was missing. One day in the middle of a surfing contest, he saw some dolphins riding an enormous cresting wave…and to his eyes, it looked like a challenge. The Pro Surfer rode that wave right out to sea, determined to show the dolphins that he could surf even better than they could. The wave just kept on going, and the Pro Surfer did too. Since then, in his wild ride around the ocean, he’s pitted his surfing skills against manta rays, flying fish and sunfish, and left them all in his wake. If he ever doubts himself or starts to wobble, he just looks down at the toothy shark face painted on his board, and it helps him get right back in the game!

            Cheerleader

“Gimmie an L! Gimmie an E! Gimmie a G! Gimmie an O! Yaaay!” The Cheerleader is perpetually filled to bursting with energy, excitement and enthusiasm. She prefers cartwheels and handsprings to plain old ordinary walking, and she waves her pom-poms around wildly whenever she talks, which is pretty much all of the time. The Cheerleader loves to cheer people on, no matter what they’re doing. Whether they’re changing a light bulb, building a wall or just crossing the street, she’s always there with a peppy cheerleading routine to encourage them to do their best and never give up. It can actually get kind of annoying sometimes, but her perpetual good mood and sunny smile are so contagious that it’s hard to really mind.

              Commissioner Gordon

One of Batman’s staunchest allies, the hard-working Commissioner Gordon™ has spent his entire long career cleaning up the streets of Gotham City. Ever since his days as a beat cop, he has always performed his duty by the good old-fashioned rules, no matter what chaos Gotham City’s many super-villains may have thrown his way. Now that he’s retiring, what changes lie in store for his beloved city?

                Cheshire Cat

The Cheshire Cat is one of the many magical creatures that Alice encounters on her adventures in the wondrous world of Wonderland. When she asks him for directions through the Tulgey Wood, he replies only with riddles and mischievous mind-twisters before mysteriously disappearing from sight, leaving nothing behind but his grin!

                  FLYING WARRIOR

“Justice never rests!” Even a mythological spirit of protection can’t be everywhere all the time. When the Battle Goddess decided that her mission of justice could use a helping hand, she selected a warrior of the ancient world who had proven both his valor in combat and his great love of peace. Granting him the gift of immortality, she gave him golden, winged armor and armed him with a mighty spear of thunder. Throughout the ages, the Flying Warrior has tirelessly carried out his duty of defending the weak and innocent. To pay the bills (even an ancient hero needs an apartment and the occasional pizza), he’s recently become a museum guide. Tour groups are really impressed by his booming voice and first-hand knowledge of centuries of history, and kids on class trips love it when he accidentally knocks things over with his wings!

                    Cake Guy

“SURPRISE!!!” The other minifigures thought they were going to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the modern LEGO® Minifigure with a delicious, freshly-baked cake. Boy, were they surprised when the Cake Guy jumped out! What a mess! Now there’s cake and icing everywhere, and nobody’s even sure where the candles ended up. It’s a good thing the minifigures all have a good sense of humor… and an even better thing that somebody brought extra cupcakes to the party! Hey, how did the Cake Guy even fit in there?!?

                    • LEGO® Minifigures

                      Businessman

“Me? Why, I’m just a simple businessman.” It must be stated from the outset that the Businessman is simply an ordinary office worker. He is emphatically not, for example, a highly-trained secret agent who goes on daring undercover missions on behalf of the Crown, traveling under a humble guise in order to thwart the plots of mad scientists and evil masterminds all around the globe. The Businessman’s bowler hat is most certainly not packed with hi-tech devices ranging from sophisticated listening gear to a deployable grappling line. Likewise, his perfectly normal briefcase does not contain a hidden microcomputer, and his newspaper is not a well-camouflaged data-pad with a remote satellite uplink. Nor do his glasses allow him to see in the dark or magnify distant objects a thousandfold. No, he’s just a regular, everyday businessman, and any rumors to the contrary should be strictly ignored.

                        Cowgirl

“Ain’t nobody quicker’n me, pardner!” The rootin’, tootin’ Cowgirl is the fastest hand in the Wild West with a lasso. Whether she’s pulling a stuck calf out of a ravine or rounding up that rascally Bandit for the fourteenth time this week, she can throw her rope quicker than anything, and catch whatever she’s aiming at, too. With the help of her lasso, the Cowgirl has been known to stop a charging bison, hoist the broken end of a bridge across a canyon, knock a water tower down to put out a barn fire, and set a runaway locomotive back on its tracks. About the only thing she hasn’t been able to do with it so far is help the Cowboy track down his missing horse…but she sure aims to try!

                          Captain Hook

Captain Hook leads a crooked band of pirates aboard his ship, the Jolly Roger. He has sworn revenge on Peter Pan for feeding his left hand to a crocodile, hence the hook that he has used to replace it. Hook is extremely sly and treacherous, but he runs away whenever he hears the tick-tock of the alarm clock in that hungry croc’s belly!

                          • LEGO® Minifigures

                            Red Cheerleader

“Gimme an even louder L, E, G and O! All right!” While totally proud of her home team and wanting to do all she can to cheer the players on, the Red Cheerleader is also extremely competitive with her rivals on other cheer squads. Whatever the opposing team’s cheerleaders do, she feels like her squad needs to do it even bigger, better, and with more gusto. Sometimes that leads her to go a little over the top with the cheering displays she puts together. It all started simply enough, with synchronized cartwheels and the occasional human pyramid. But that led to acrobatics…and then fireworks…and then parade floats…and then they hired that skywriter jet…and before her squad knew it, more people were coming to watch the cheering than the game!

                              Dragon Suit Guy

“Rarr! I’m bringing the HEAT to this party!” The Dragon Suit Guy loves to make things hot. He’s the guy who always brings a pot of extra-spicy chili, gives out bottles of hot sauce as presents, and puts jalapeños on everything. EVERYTHING. With a diet like that, you’d think the Dragon Suit Guy might be pretty hot-tempered, but he’s actually one of the nicest minifigures around. Not everybody may share his taste for heat, but that’s okay…if he gets to eat all of the hot stuff himself, one of these days he might even breathe fire! Or at least burp it.
