Imagine you’re a brilliant video game designer, a legend in the gaming community, and you work your tail off to create the best game you’ve ever designed. And it works! Then, during the final stage of development, you ask your assistant to test the game. And then something happens – something so terrible that the project gets shelved, the game shut down, and you, the creator of the game, disappear. That’s exactly what happened to the legendary Milton Dyer. What went wrong that fateful day his assistant Scott went to test the Prime Empire game? What happened with that arcade cabinet? We have so many questions, and a feeling in our gut that we wouldn’t like the answers. Do you dare to imagine what’s behind the mysterious shelving of Prime Empire?
When Okino’s and Player Seven’s paths cross
Before meeting the ninja, the samurai warrior Okino was losing hope – and fast. As a Non-Player Character (NPC) inside the Prime Empire game, his role is to guide and lead players through the dangers of Terra Kerana, but he’s programmed to fail every single one of his missions by the evil Unagami. And what about Racer Seven? She’s another NPC, a race car driver who’s also programmed to fail and crash out of every race. But when Okino’s and Player Seven’s paths cross with the ninja’s, their entire reality changes. Why? Because the ninja encourage them both to think for themselves and realize that they don’t have to play by someone else’s rules. Especially someone as awful as Unagami! That got us thinking of those times when we felt stuck in a problem. Have you ever felt that way? If so, it’s a good thing to remember what a little bit of ‘believe in yourself’ magic can do!
Who’s behind Unagami? Here’s a (very big) clue
He’s the great evil mastermind of the Prime Empire universe – but how can the ninja defeat Unagami if they don’t know who he is? So far, the ninja have a theory – that Unagami is really the game avatar of the equally mysterious Milton Dyer – but they don’t know for sure. Lloyd, Nya, Kai, Cole and Jay are trapped inside Prime Empire, competing for the Key-Tanas they need to stop Unagami. Zane, Pixal and Master Wu stay behind in NINJAGO® City, looking for Milton Dyer. But what none of them know is that the key to understanding and defeating Unagami lies in... his name. That’s right – Unagami’s name means something, and it’s important. Do you know what it means? Let’s see how close you get. Share your best guess in the comments!
Someone forgets the password
Jay is the first ninja to get sucked into Prime Empire, and the game inhabitants take to him like fans to a rock star! Of course, every fan club needs a place to meet and hang out, and the League of Jays have their very own hidden chamber in Terra Technica, where they hold their secret meetings and keep their collection of awesome Jay memorabilia. To get there, they need to go through a tunnel that leads from Scott’s garage to the chamber gate. And to get in, they need to know the secret password – “Mister Cuddlywomp” (Jay’s teddy bear). The problem begins when ‘Dee-jay 81’, a member of the League of Jays, tries to get back to the chamber after a very long day of fighting Red Visors. And because he’s so tired, he accidentally says the password as “Mister Wompycuddle”. THREE TIMES! And you know what happens when you enter the wrong password three times, right? Exactly – account locked. How will anyone get into the chamber now? We’ll let your imagination decide. How would you break into the secret chamber?
