Have you noticed how your pre-schooler tries to copy everything you do? (Including some of the things you wish they wouldn’t?) If you, or a grandparent maybe, are already doing crafts like knitting or crocheting, there is a possibility that you have had to rescue a tangled ball of yarn or two after prying it from your child’s very determined hands. Your child’s excitement about trying new things does not always match the developmental stage of their fine motor skills. So any attempts to involve them in the actual yarn-crafting process could end in tears. (We’re not presuming anything about whose tears they are.)
