As part of The LEGO Groups long term growth strategy and expansion into Asia we are seeking talent to help secure our growth and success. We are scaling up resources and competencies to secure we incorporate consumer and customer insights into our planning. These will include forecasting/sales planning, consumer sales tracking, launch planning, promotional planning and inventory management. These are all important elements and areas that are instrumental to our success.

SBU Malaysia is a part of the APAC and South East Asia (SEA) business unit. SBU Malaysia is a sales subsidiary that’s main function is to manage and execute the sales and marketing of LEGO products specific to the Malaysia market.

Our main goals are to ensure that we deliver Brand access, consumer lifetime value, consumer driven operations and integrated marketing championship through building a sustainable operating platform in the market.

Your specific tasks include:

• Responsibility of the monthly SBU Forecast/Sales planning process
• Responsibility for Consumer sales build up and analysis.
• Responsible for weekly traction
• Responsibility for Inventory management
• Strong dialogue with marketing and sales team getting their insights on strength of products, marketing activities and competitor activities
• Collaboration with BU SEA operations team; e.g. in terms of directions and statistical replenishment forecast

Challenges and Opportunities

The key responsibilities for the Demand Planner will be to drive and lead all elements related to the sales and operations process, consumer sales tracking processes, inventory control processes within SBU Malaysia. The Demand Planner will - together with the Regional and SBU Marketing teams and SBU sales team - create the best possible sales forecast based on insights from historical sales trends (CS), strength of products and marketing plans through a monthly structured sales and operations planning process (S&OP).

The Demand Planner will need to collaborate with many stakeholders and ensure that deadlines are met for deliverables into Country Manager and regional functions.

Do you have what it takes?

• 5+ years experience within forecasting and/or Sales & Operations (S&OP)
• 5+ years of using databases and information sources to determine trends.
• 5+ years experience working in cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication skills, has to be fluent in spoken and written English.
• 5+ years experience within FMCG or Branded goods company.
