The LEGO group is currently looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join our Belgium Office. We are looking for an insights-driven individual who has the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across multiple functions.

Your specific tasks include:

• Analysis of current business performance and defining actions needed to improve or sustain performance in the short and mid-term. This includes supply of standard tools/dashboards and facilitation in whole or part of key internal decision-making forums.
• Accountable for delivery of high quality reports and insights on all available internal and external data to support regional and individual business unit’s decision making
• Accountable for delivery of high-quality ad-hoc analyses and insights, which can combine different types of data
• Responsible for the collection, calculation, submission and communication around standard weekly, monthly and yearly consumer sales data
• Responsible for the LEGO group consumer sales data systems validity, business unit report integrity, roll out, training and maintenance of global/local dashboards and tools.
• Help define and build solutions which secure coherency and scalability within the LEGO Group.

Challenges and Opportunities

The focus of the Business Intelligence manager is to act as a business partner to the Europe Central leadership team whilst supplying the business unit with consumer, shopper and customer insights. The position will lead the data management processes required to drive visibility of in-market consumer sales. In addition, the role will identify opportunities to drive Regional/Western Europe Business Intelligence initiatives that support an agenda of simplicity and consistency. Generating insights and recommendations which answer questions and/or enable better decisions, will be a key indicator of success in this position.

Do you have what it takes?

• Extensive reporting and/or master data experience preferably from a consumer branded goods company or retailer
• Strong networker and collaborator with the ability to build relationships across geographical regions and cultures
• Experience in leading projects with multiple stakeholders across functions and seniority levels
• Strong working knowledge of BI systems (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Lumira, etc.) required and SAP experience an advantage
• Advanced level of Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree would be an advantage)
