Automation as an enabler :
# Giving technical guidance, define automation architecture for development and design of PLC-software for equipment in collaboration with suppliers and mechanical designers
# Being a part of project team and follow all project management rules and relevant norms
# Supporting collaboration development of cross functional team
# Coordination of automation relevant training of others in use and installation of newly developed equipment and features
# Supporting platform ownership process and its activities
# Supporting standardization of new equipment and continuous improvement of current equipment
R&D Automation team is located in Billund, DK and Kladno, CZ with global responsibility for packing equipment – prepack (machines for packing LEGO products into bags) & final pack (machines for packing LEGO products into paper boxes and other non-standard final packaging). R&D Automation also supports automation activities for Moulding and Processing with colleagues in Billund, Denmark and Kladno, CZ.
The team in Kladno is currently busy with the puzzle how to assure our LEGO® products are assembled and packed into newly developed sustainable packaging in the most efficient way. Deliver sustainable packaging is currently our no1 priority. Join us on that journey!
Is the position for you?# 4+ years in automation area
# Experience with development, design and PLC-programming (Allen Bradley - Rockwell Automation Studio5000 preferably)
# Experience in Ethernet/IP and/or OPC UA
# Hands on experience in functional safety – using safety controllers
# Knowledgeable about new technologies and innovative consumer trends
# Able to read and write equipment design requirements; read and understand electrical drawings; understand and specify equipment documentation
# Microsoft Office bundle at user level
# Self-driven, communicative and curious
# Fluent English and Czech
