Would you like to help shape the digital home for LEGO Engineering & Workplace  building a new SharePoint site with a clear identity, smart Confluence templates, and timesaving Jira/Confluence automations?

Join us to design and launch our Engineering Delivery System — standardizing, digitizing, and streamlining how LEGO Engineering & Workplace works through a new SharePoint site, handy Confluence templates, and time-saving Jira automations.

Core Responsibilities  

  • Co-design and build the LEGO Engineering & Workplace SharePoint site with our senior developer.
  • Develop site content and visuals that strengthen one LEGO Engineering & Workplace identity and enhance site engagement.
  • Create handy Confluence templates and simple style/labeling standards for consistent documentation.
  • Build practical automations in Jira, Confluence or Power Automate (workflows, rules, notifications, integrations) to remove manual steps.
  • Support smooth adoption: produce quick guides and short videos and provide hands-on support.
  • Join or even co-facilitate workshops (e.g. design workshop)
  • Support content governance with the senior developer (ownership, review cadence, access)

The LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) team in E&W brings deep experience in LEAN, transformational projects, and digital automation across Operations and ELT areas. We focus on streamlining processes and solving practical challenges to boost efficiency and performance. Our ambition is to standardize and industrialize core technology development by building an Engineering Delivery System that embeds LEAN principles - enabling seamless deployment and startup of manufacturing assets while accelerating innovation. 

As a student worker, you will co-build the system digital backbone with our senior developer - designing a clear SharePoint site, handy Confluence templates, and time-saving Jira/Confluence automations. Your work will make collaboration easier, cut manual steps, and help teams adopt common standards and share knowledge across LEGO Engineering & Workplace.

Do you have what it takes? 

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software/Industrial Engineering, Business IT, or a related field.​​
  • You have Foundational Microsoft 365/SharePoint or Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) experience.
  • SharePoint Online experience: pages, navigation, permissions.
  • Confluence proficiency: templates, macros/labels, clear structure.
  • Jira project/board setup and Automation for Jira (rules, notifications).
  • Low/no-code automation (Power Automate or Atlassian Automation): quick learner.
  • Strong written/visual communication: create concise guides and short videos.
  • Structured and detail‑oriented: plan work and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative and service‑minded: co‑develop with a senior dev and support users.
  • Fluent in English.
  • MS-900 or PL-900 (Power Platform) or Atlassian Jira Fundamentals certification (or in progress).
  • Power Automate experience connecting SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook (approvals, notifications).
  • Proactive continuous-improvement mindset - spots manual steps and proposes simple automations.
