Job Description

  • Procurement is focused on the materials supply to the production factories as well in charge of the commercial relationship management with all the suppliers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • To handle commercial aspects with the LEGO Group suppliers in a high level of spend, risk or criticality for the operation, following the Global Procurement Policies and Processes oriented to provide value within category global plan set.
  • Develop specific goals (critical metrics) and prioritize, coordinate and accomplish result of the Procurement team.
  • Develop a constructive and collaborative working relationship with other departments.
  • Active role and participation in local/global leadership teams.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, prioritization.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Maintain and develop supplier platform according to capacity and capability needs.

  • 5-7 years’ experience in managerial-level purchasing of US direct and indirect materials and services.
