Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Delivery: Take full ownership of features and services from design through development, deployment, and operation in a “you build it – you run it” environment

  • Elevate Engineering Standards: Champion best practices in coding, testing, and system design, mentoring team members to continuously improve quality and efficiency

  • Ensure System Reliability and Quality: Drive a solid focus on performance, security, observability, and resilience across the platform, ensuring production excellence

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions and shared outcomes

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering processes to accelerate delivery and reduce friction

  • Contribute to Technical Strategy: Evaluate and adopt new technologies and approaches (including AI where relevant) to evolve and future-proof solutions

  • Foster Ownership and Accountability: Act as a role model for accountability, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring successful delivery of team commitments

Product Delivery Technology is a crucial component of the Consumer and Marketing Technology organization within Digital Technology. Our department is dedicated to the creation of cutting-edge digital products, spanning product lifecycle management, workflow management and digital content creation and distribution. We operate at the intersection of innovation, creativity, and technology, committed to delivering solutions that drive excellence across different domains in the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, computer science or an IT focused commercial degree

  • Expertise in C#/.NET (or similar strongly typed language) with strong architectural approach

  • Designs scalable APIs and distributed systems with long-term ownership

  • Experienced in cloud-native development (AWS preferred), with a proven sense of operational excellence — observability, reliability, and on-call ownership of production systems

  • Solid understanding of data integration patterns, persistence strategies (SQL/NoSQL), and event-driven architectures

  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • Experience with ontology engineering, semantic modeling, or knowledge graph concepts

  • Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)

  • Experience leveraging AI Tools and understanding of integrating AI capabilities

  • Leads by example, mentoring and growing more junior engineers

  • Fosters a strong team-first mentality and collaborative culture

  • Challenges the status quo and drives continuous improvement

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
