Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Security Specialist at LEGO, where safeguarding our people and assets is a top priority. In this role, your main focus will be on analytical tasks, including forecasting risks 2-3 weeks ahead and conducting geopolitical analysis. A smaller portion of your responsibilities will involve handling alarms and responding to real-time incidents with precision and care!

Please note: The role is a 24/7 position, including rotating shifts and weekend work.

Core Responsibilities

  • Foster team collaboration and readiness for critical tasks in a 24/7 global security operation.
  • Serve as the main contact for real-time alarms from surveillance systems. Quickly address security events at LEGO sites, ensuring coordination with guards, police, and emergency services while maintaining clear communication.
  • Monitor systems to identify threats and support the G-SOC team in critical situations, ensuring continuity and adherence to security plans.
  • Conduct threat assessments using global data and local developments. Provide risk briefings and forecasts to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver timely updates and structured reports during incidents, supporting post-incident analysis and security procedure improvement.
  • Refine security processes and SOPs to enhance response efficiency and consistency across G-SOC functions.

The Global Security Organization looks after people and assets in The LEGO Group. The primary role is to ensure business continuity by protecting the company and employees from critical security incidents and ensuring efficient responses to incidents. This includes safety aspects of various events and travel security. Global Command Centre is an independent company under the Global Security Organization.

Global Command Centre foremost duty is to contribute security and support to the LEGO Group, Owner Family, KIRKBI A/S and by having a center function in the LEGO Group as Global point of contact 365, 24/7 and centre for crisis and emergency management.

You will be a part of our Global Command Center existing of 6 Senior Security Specialists, 3 Senior Security Supervisors, 1 Security Manager, 1 Crisis Manager and Head of Global Command Centre.

Do you have what it takes

The ideal candidate comes with proven experience in security operations, incident management, or global monitoring, preferably within a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) or Global Command Centre environment.

Moreover, they have:

  • Ability to work rotating shifts and on-call, maintaining focus and composure in crises.
  • Education in Security Management, Emergency Management, Political Science, Criminology, Intelligence Studies, or related fields.
  • Emergency response, risk assessment, or threat intelligence analysis training; law enforcement/military background preferred.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities; effective threat assessment and prioritization under pressure.
  • Excellent interaction with executives, partners, and emergency services.
  • Ensures accurate follow-through on procedures and documentation.
  • Skilled with security systems like CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring.
  • High confidentiality and judgment, aligned with LEGO values.
  • Experience with Executive Protection or VIP security operations, including travel risk assessments.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and verbal.

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
