Core Responsibilities 

In this role as Senior Project Manager, you will scope, plan, lead, and implement complex Processing Equipment Platform Development projects, from early conceptual development to implementation, in close cooperation with the project team and main partners, to ensure delivering the agreed result to our internal customer.  More specifically, your responsibilities will be to:  

  • Capture an end-to-end business understanding to scope and ensure that the solutions meet our internal customer requirements 

  • Lead the project by following our Project Execution Model and other relevant business processes 

  • Ensure speed in execution of the projects by defining clear roles and responsibilities in the team and enabling them to deliver efficient results 

  • Ensure strong anchoring during the handover of projects in the line organization with a high level of standards 

  • Conduct after-action reviews and continuously implement the best project management practices and tools in the way we work and use agile principles where relevant

You will join the Technology Innovation & Development Team in Billund. We are a team of 24 dedicated colleagues focusing on the development of the next generation of Processing Equipment Platforms within Decoration and Assembly.

Do you have what it takes?  

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading complex engineering projects combined with a relevant educational background. In addition, we expect that you have: 

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to develop and manage supplier and partner relationships 

  • Knowledge of Process Engineering tools (FMEA, FAT/SAT, technical documentation, etc.) 

  • Proven competencies in leading, mentoring, and empowering project team members on a proactive basis 

  • Experience in developing processes, tools, and standard methodologies for project management and execution 

  • Support for the LEGO Group’s values by being curious to investigate alternatives, focused on delivering as agreed, and brave to take decisions and act 

  • Proficiency in English
