Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Delivery & Operations Lead to act as the OLA Commerce VP’s right-hand during a pivotal phase of our (new) agency’s evolution. This role is both strategic and hands-on, combining operational leadership, delivery oversight, and transformation management to ensure our business scales effectively and delivers world-class commerce and digital experiences and outcomes for the LEGO business, our partners and our consumers.

As we embark on a major transformation, you will help architect and execute new ways of working, streamline operations, and ensure our delivery and production teams are set up for success. You’ll be an integrator — setting and translating vision into operational reality, enabling teams to deliver at pace, on time, and importantly to the highest creative quality.

You will also be the primary operational interface with key LEGO business partners, ensuring seamless collaboration, aligned priorities, and outstanding delivery. Leading a cross-functional delivery and production team, you will drive operational excellence across disciplines while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Innovation and embedding new technologies will also be a consideration as we establish this market leading commerce capability.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Partner with the VP to shape and implement the (new) agency’s transformation roadmap, ensuring operational alignment across all business units.

  • Design and optimise end-to-end delivery processes, resource models, and performance tracking to enable scalable growth.

  • Establish clear critical metrics, dashboards, and reporting rhythms to drive accountability and visibility.

Delivery Excellence

  • Lead a cross-functional delivery and production team to execute high-impact multi-market digital and commerce projects.

  • Act as the operational point of contact for key LEGO business partners, building strong, trust-based relationships.

  • Implement best-practice delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile, hybrid models) and (new) agency ways of working.

  • Identify delivery risks early and put in place proactive mitigation strategies.

Transformation Enablement

  • Drive adoption of new tools, platforms, and workflows to elevate creative experiences, enable seamless collaboration and smarter decision-making.

  • Champion cultural change, encouraging a high-performance, human (client, partner and consumer)-centric attitude across teams.

  • Partner with Finance, HR, and Technology leads to ensure transformation initiatives are supported by the right resources, budgets, and governance.

Executive Partnership

  • Act as a strategic sounding board to the VP, offering insights, challenge, and operational solutions.

  • Lead special projects, pilots, and rapid response initiatives that require cross-functional coordination.

  • Represent the VP in key internal forums and client engagements where operational alignment is critical.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Success in this role means OLA Commerce has clearer ways of working, better visibility of priorities and risks, and stronger delivery across digital and commerce projects.

Teams have the tools, processes and support they need to deliver work on time and to a high standard. LEGO business partners understand how to work with OLA Commerce and feel confident in how work is planned, managed, and delivered.

Over time, new tools, automation, and improved workflows reduce friction and allow teams to spend more time on creative, commercial, and strategic work.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven delivery of leadership, operations, or programme management within digital, commerce, or creative (new) agency environments.

  • Transformation Track Record: Shown success leading operational change and scaling delivery in complex, multi-disciplinary organisations.

  • Client & Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of digital commerce ecosystems, marketing technology, and data-driven business models.

  • Leadership Style: A collaborative, pragmatic problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to work with C-level stakeholders and senior partners, including large global brands such as LEGO.

  • Tools & Methods: Proficient in modern project delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Lean), workflow automation, and performance analytics.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
