Job Description

Bring your finance and partner management expertise to the LEGO Group® and support Collections activities across the APAC markets while driving high-quality Accounts Receivable operations in a global environment!

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-performance, customer-centered culture for Customer Account Services (CAS) - Accounts Receivable processes while supporting the Team Lead with operational and ad-hoc activities
  • Manage debt collection activities for assigned Australia and New Zealand market portfolios within the APAC region
  • Follow up on overdue balances and collection activities to ensure timely payments and healthy cash flow
  • Advise on payment allocation and support resolution of payment discrepancies
  • Act as the key contact for customers to resolve disputes, claims, deductions, and payment issues
  • Release customer orders in line with company policies and credit limit utilization guidelines
  • Prepare and distribute weekly aging reports and debtor reporting to partners
  • Reconcile customer accounts and provide statements of account as required
  • Participate in Credit Risk Wheel discussions to highlight collection risks and challenges
  • Support provision calculations for doubtful and bad debts, including adjustments and reporting activities

This role is located in Singapore, and no relocation assistance is offered for this position.

The Customer Account Services (CAS) department supports the LEGO Group through consistent, high-quality, and customer focused execution of Accounts Receivable processes combined with strong partner management. This enables Business Service Operations (BSO) to deliver significant value to the wider LEGO Group organization!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven professional experience in Accounts receivable, including international accounting or collections experience
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative global Shared Service Centre environment with an end-to-end process perspective
  • Advanced English language skills (C1) for effective communication with customers
  • Strong business and market understanding at both operational and tactical levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Strong partner management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Proactive attitude combined with strong collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic international environment

What would be an advantage

  • Experience supporting the Australia and New Zealand markets is considered an advantage
  • Experience working in a Shared Service Centre environment with focus on process excellence and optimization
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP is a strong advantage
