Job Description
Are you a quality leader with a passion for excellence, ready to champion a culture of safety and quality across a world-class LEGO manufacturing environment?
Bring your quality management expertise to LMV (LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam) and take full ownership of moulding quality — driving continuous improvement, building team capability, and ensuring every LEGO brick meets the highest global standards.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
Ensure that all products, processes, practices, and documents within the area of responsibility comply with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, CCC, FSC, and LEGO Group standards, including GCIR practices.
Promote a quality culture and raise awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization; drive the quality team to actively participate in quality forums and related activities, and lead the resolution of quality issues.
Embed a Product Safety mindset and knowledge across the organization, and ensure that product safety issues are handled effectively using appropriate methods and tools.
Own the quality training and qualification system, as well as the Accountability, Roles & Responsibilities (AR&R) framework for quality-related teams, to build and sustain quality competencies and performance at LMV.
Be accountable for laboratory services and performance in accordance with ISO17025 and LEGO Group corporate standards.
Build and maintain a live quality risk assessment database, and translate findings into an updated quality control plan and continuous improvement roadmap.
Ensure that all nonconformances are appropriately quarantined and resolved in a timely manner, in accordance with government regulations and corporate procedures.
Secure plant quality KPI performance in alignment with global targets, and define improvement areas based on thorough quality data analysis.
Drive continuous improvement activities within the area of responsibility, proactively applying CI tools, problem-solving methodologies, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) wherever applicable.
Lead team performance management and development; plan and arrange team coverage to ensure consistent quality service delivery, particularly during peak production seasons.
Share and adapt best practices across LMV functions and with other sites within the LEGO Group.
Collaborate with the EHS function on daily operations and other assigned tasks.
Exercise authority to stop production or machinery immediately upon identification of a critical safety or quality risk.
Play Your Part in Our Team Succeeding
The Moulding Quality team at LMV exists to protect consumers and uphold the LEGO Group's reputation for premium quality by ensuring that every product leaving our factory is safe and meets the highest standards. Our team drives a proactive quality culture across the organization — from promoting product safety awareness and executing robust quality management systems, to developing team competencies and sharing best practices with LEGO sites globally.
In this role, you will lead a capable quality team and serve as a key quality partner for moulding operations — minimizing production risk through early engineering involvement, ensuring fast and effective nonconformance containment, and continuously raising the quality bar at LMV.
“Zero Vision — Our ambition and commitment to create and ensure a safe and healthy workplace, and to prevent all accidents, harm, and work-related illness, in pursuit of excellence in health, safety, and wellbeing.”
“Dare to Care — Everyone is committed to keeping themselves and others healthy and safe by showing genuine concern and awareness for the wellbeing of those around them.”
“Only the best is good enough — The unwavering focus on quality is rooted in the LEGO family’s DNA and the enduring legacy of the LEGO Group.”
