Job Description
The Moulding Analytics Center (MAC) is a competence center for one of the LEGO Groups core capabilities: Injection moulding and is responsible for extracting and analyzing data and providing a solid ground for data driven decision-making for engineering solutions related to the moulding process.
We are looking for an enthusiastic student worker to join the MAC Project and Portfolio Management team in Billund Denmark, who can support us on our journey towards data driven portfolio management.
Core responsibilities
- Assist in the development, maintenance and continuously improvement of the Microsoft Power App based Portfolio Management tools
- Maintain and operate relevant and new portfolio management and business performance management Power BI dash boards
- Assist in the operations of the portfolio out of pocket (OOP) spending report and Power BI dash boards together with Finance
- Support with analyzing portfolio and project data
- Provide general support for ad-hoc tasks and projects
Play your part in our team succeeding
As part of the Project and Portfolio Management team in MAC, you will play an influential role in the operations and development of our portfolio management tools, that enables the prioritization of projects and activities in MAC. You will work closely together with the portfolio engineer and together you will be responsible for securing the flow of portfolio data all the way from project core data level to portfolio insights level. The data foundation you create is the key enabler for MAC to perform data driven portfolio management decisions and you will experience a high degree of power to impact and plenty of hands-on work. Furthermore, you will support the MAC organization building relevant PowerBI dashboards like waste performance dashboards, metrology performance dashboards, etc.
Do you have what it takes?
It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker.
In terms of your background and skills, we envision:
- Strong IT skills across the Microsoft suite (e.g. Power Apps, Microsoft Lists, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc.).
- The ability to support the team’s needs for data transparency through strong Power BI skills including using Query Editor and understanding simple DAX calculation.
- Confidence in working with Power Apps and experience within Microsoft 365.
- Master level student or in the final year of your bachelor's degree. Educational focus is within the field of engineering such as Mechanical Engineer etc., or business related such as Business Administration, Business Insights, Analytics or equivalent.
- Natural flair for data visualization and flow of data.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data crunching.
- English at a professional level.
