Job Description

As Sr. Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for delivering a consistent service to all the customers of the Share Service.

This means to meet the customers’ expectations and provide them with a top professional service, incorporating the LEGO values.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee all Payroll Inputs are processed correctly and on time for more than +6,000 employees for Mexico.
  • Follow and operate according to policies of Payroll processes, ensuring compliance.
  • Handle incidents and their escalation, special requests. Preparing root cause analysis utilizing problem solving methodology, and implementing preventive measures to avoid re-occurrence.
  • Develop Business Contingency Plans for natural incidents, legal or technological changes ensuring employee’s payments.
  • Ensure high level of Customer Service, using Tone of Voice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues for the benefit of the whole (team player)
  • Prepare metrics and reporting analysis around Payroll. Ensuring great performance in Payroll Accuracy and Timeliness.
  • Ensure quality on data and Payroll Calculations.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience
  • Relevant Payroll experience or Human Resources.
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience or understanding of the Mexican Payroll, regulatory environment and tax rules are preferred.
  • Previous experience working with Payroll Vendors (EPI USE).
  • Knowledge of Kronos, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday.
  • Excellent time management skills. Ability of prioritize and multi – task.
