The department is responsible for:

Maturing and validating new technologies and platforms within moulding and moulding processes. Validation of new materials as well.

Succes for validation is that the technologies, platforms or materials can be Industrialized. We do this through test plans as an example.

We receive molds from internal or external suppliers.

We build up capabilities at the different production sites (China, Denmark, Hungary and Mexico) thru structured training and support.

Focus: On defining the most robust and data driven way of optimizing molds for production, by looking at the mold as an individual mould.

Focus: On the element Triangle. The interaction between machine, mould and material, when troubleshooting. Interacting with stakeholders, other departments and customers.

Focus: On test new technologies, platforms and materials via a defined test plan. Give input to test plan, and create a stable moulding process, to ensure validation of the test we make and evaluate.

Deliver molds with approved elements, which can produce elements in the right quality, and secure that all information regarding the mould is documented and updated in Relevant systems such as SAP.

Focus: On gaining as much knowledge, as possible on every mold and give the right feedback back in the chain, to secure learnings and best practice for future molds. Document the knowledge in test plans and other systems.

Focus; On “providing service and know how” it is about being the specialist on LEGO molding processes. Being the specialist defining the right data, knowledge and learnings. Being able to train your colleagues.

Core Responsibilities:

· Participate in test plan creation and execution to gain knowledge learning and data.

· Participate in cross-functional meetings, having focus on the moulding process.

· Global networking activities (online meetings and F2F workshops) to create and improve global alignment of the tasks and solutions made regarding molds and moulding process.

· Responsible for quality of the moulding process are according to global standards, when validating new technologies, platforms and materials.

· Provide support for both internal and external suppliers.

· Making training material, whenever applicable is always globally aligned.

· Local Responsibility

· Will be responsible for being part of development of new mold types, and other ways of molding (End to end)

· Being a partner in developing new platforms, new types of molds or different ways of doing optimalization of the mold

· Being part of testing new machines and equipment with the scope of validation

· Close collaboration with planning regarding planning of daily work, and delivery.

· Support process confirmation

· Support The entire Value Chain by driving small projects.

Documentation:

· Responsible for right level of quality, precise detail level and accuracy of documentation with focus on according to global and local requirements and standards, always doing the registrations in the relevant systems such as: SAP, MMS and Test plans.

DO you have what it takes?

· Approx. 5 years of experience within process optimization and trouble shooting.

· Fluent speaking and writing in mother language, combined with English skills both in speech and writing.

· Mobility and travelling is needed

· Expert knowledge of molding processes and materials.

· Molding Process specialist, knowledge and understanding of constructions, and the different types of molds and basic.

· Moulding machine and Equipment Knowledge

· Being able to keep calm and prioritize when working under pressure.

· A team player

Nice to have

· Experienced in using SAP and Power BI

· Soft skills (communication, feedbacks, organization, systematic analytical approach)

· Process thinking

· Time flexibility (sometimes support for other shifts needed)

· Ability to work in a global environment and have respect of different cultures.

o Plasticmaker

o Plast Specialist

o PPS advanced

o Global trainer / six sigma Yellow belt
