Core Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for assortment and listing master data integrity across all systems that support the LEGO Retail planning, merchandising, and in-stock operating model. 

  • Responsible to ensure the full assortment of all SKUs carried across LEGO stores and LEGO.com are active and accurate in the upcoming Assortment Management Tool. 

  • Build and lead the process for auditing listing accuracy after key data flow turning points in the Global Merchandising Schedule, addressing any found issues and providing transparency on resolution across the stakeholder network. 

  • Lead the development and coordination of LEGO Retail specific articles (SKUs) for product bundles, tests, events, and other LEGO retail specific initiatives.  

  • Implement the process and curation of all LEGO Retail “owned” product attributes necessary to support our end-to-end systems operating model. 

  • Act as the primary global point of escalation for any LEGO Retail assortment master data issues. When vital, solicit support from global LEGO IT and portfolio management colleagues. Provide impacted and other relevant collaborators with regular updates on any escalated issue. Leverage organizationally accessible digital tools to manage, track progress, update, and close incidents. 

  • Participate and lead LEGO Retail inputs and priorities in global master data meetings and projects. Have regular collaboration within the global master data and portfolio networks. 

  • Serve as the key LEGO Retail master data partner on any ongoing or future system implementation project, including the current space and floor planning tools, the current retail planning tool, and the upcoming assortment management and allocation and replenishment tools. 

  • Support Analytics and Insights team in any projects related to flow of assortment or listing master data into any analytical tools, including Tableau and Power BI. 

  • Run the external vendor interface and front-end setup of master data for Licensed Items used in outbound processes. Ensure all vendor-submitted data is accurate and maintains downstream integrity.  

  • Manage the collaboration with the global master data team to update any product attributes for Outbound Licensed Products, as needed by the LEGO Retail business.  

Do you have what it takes 

  • Technical understanding of Product Lifecycle Management. 

  • High experience with ERP systems, preferable SAP 

  • A phenomenal teammate but still with an ability to lead indirectly and informally. 

  • A problem solver focussing on supporting colleagues and developing high efficient ways of working 

  • Structured and analytical way of working – being data driven and able to handle complex data analytics 

  • A curious approach that can see beyond constraints and are not afraid to challenge our processes 

  • A global approach enabling you to collaborate across cultures 

  • Great communication skills, and ability to present complex and detailed function/situation/data in a meaningful and compelling way.
