Job Description

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations through SAP master data management, capacity analysis, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate production data, supporting operational decision-making, and helping ensure manufacturing readiness across platforms and buildings. The position will collaborate closely with production, planning, process engineering, and global teams to support demand changes, engineering updates, and operational optimization efforts.

Main responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain routings and production versions in SAP.
  • Execute engineering changes and support data accuracy across systems.
  • Perform capacity analysis and production balancing activities.
  • Maintain planning assumptions and operational data across platforms and buildings.
  • Identify production constraints and support mitigation follow-up actions.
  • Drive production optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead or participate in operational projects, layout updates, and process changes.
  • Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Provide analysis to support operational decision-making.
  • Coordinate cross functional activities with production, planning engineering, and global teams.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering environments.
  • Knowledge of SAP master data processes, including routings and production versions.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, production flows, and capacity analysis.
  • Experience working with reports, KPIs, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with reporting or visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments with changing priorities and operational challenges.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus
  • English Fluent Level.

Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
