Job Description
Do you have a passion for planning and data, and are you energized by the idea of helping a world-renowned company deliver play experiences to children around the world?
Join LMV (LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam) as a Planning Specialist and play a central role in finished goods planning — turning data into actionable insights that drive supply chain performance and ensure LEGO products reach children’s hands on time.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
Create and maintain a mid-term 3–8 week production schedule using capacity plans, material constraints, and demand signals as key inputs.
Lead short- and mid-term planning activities to support and drive sound manufacturing investment decisions.
Provide clear visibility on mid- to long-term capacity utilization and inventory levels to enable proactive decision-making.
Analyze demand changes to ensure supply plans remain aligned with demand requirements and available supply capacity.
Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate short- and long-term gaps in supply plans, escalating risks where necessary.
Work closely with the Regional Supply Planning team to deploy the demand and supply plan across the APAC region.
Coordinate production solutions for new product introductions (Novelty) through to end-of-life (Exit), balancing supply and demand throughout the product lifecycle.
Communicate clearly and proactively with all relevant stakeholders regarding the current production status of manufacturing partners.
Own the generation and distribution of supply planning reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
Take accountability for all communications related to supply risks, interruptions, and potential business impacts.
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and drive continuous improvement projects to completion.
Ensure effective integration and communication with the planning team, shop floor planners, shipping, and other key stakeholders.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the manager.
Play Your Part in Our Team Succeeding
The Planning & Shipping team at LMV is at the heart of ensuring that LEGO products are planned, produced, and delivered to customers in the most efficient and reliable manner. As a Planning Specialist, you will be a central member of the Finished Goods Planning team — a team that determines how LEGO products are made and distributed across the APAC region.
In this role, you will support the Planning Director and the broader planning function by providing data-driven insights, maintaining planning systems, and monitoring key supply chain KPIs that connect LMV’s operations to the LEGO Group’s global planning workflow.
“Every plan we make and every insight we generate moves us one step closer to getting the right product into the right hands at the right time — and that makes all the difference for the children who love LEGO.”
