This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the LEGO Group's financial processes, particularly within the Workplace Experience Business & Projects. You'll build a strong network across the organization and enhance your finance career. 

Core responsibilities:  

  • Finance Business Controller for Workplace Experience Projects: OPEX & CAPEX 
  • Support core finance processes: planning, analysis, Month-end closing and reporting  
  • Deliver Project cost analytics enabling trade-offs & optimization dialogues with WEX leadership and Project Managers. 
  • Provide cost development reports for Project Steercos and WEX leadership meetings. 
  • Foster collaboration between GCM Finance & WEX Business to enhance productivity and cost efficiency in Workplace projects 
  • Champion BSO's standardization and automation efforts by identifying, scoping, and implementing activities to simplify and optimize core finance processes, utilizing digital tools and linking to end-to-end finance processes. 

This position is based in Prague – Jinonice, and relocation assistance is not offered for this role.

As part of the Global Cost Management team (GCM), you will play a key role supporting the LEGO Workplace Experience Business on Workplace Projects ensuring dedicated project control, reporting and continuous improvement in the financial processes!

The team is part of the larger Business Service Operations Organization (BSO), where you will join a dynamic community of ambitious and skilled finance professionals, striving to support business decisions and drive standardization and process improvements through digitalization. 

Do you have what it takes? 

  • A relevant degree in Economics or Finance or equivalent professional experience with an analytic approach and ability to translate something complex into a simple storyline
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, controlling, and analysis within a global company or consultancy role 
  •  Strong partner engagement and relationship-building skills 
  • Ability to drive and prioritize tasks and projects for timely high-quality delivery. A planning approach and being solution oriented & motivated by taking initiative to continue improving execution and act on opportunities. 
  • Experience working with various data and reporting platforms: Excel, SAP, business intelligence and Power BI. 
  • Commercial acumen and analytical skills, linking the financials to commercial drivers and benchmarks. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Proficient in English
