Core Responsibilities
- Lead the design of current LEGO Retail Experiences’ brick-based products, including Build A Minifigure, Minifigure Factory, and Pick A Brick – across both physical and digital assortments
- Act as a core member of the cross-functional team, collaborating closely with Project Management and Product Management.
- Shape and drive the Retail Experiences portfolio by:
- Co-developing strategy, business cases, and overall direction together with the core team
- Leading graphic design direction and conceptualizing assortments to prepare products for maturation
- Own and drive the maturation phase, ensuring high-quality delivery of products across the Retail Experiences portfolio
- Take ownership from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment between creative vision, feasibility, and business objectives
- Contribute to and role model a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.

LEGO Extended Line is a part of our Licensing and Extended Line Design team (LEL). LEL helps build new touch points for the LEGO® ecosystem through a wide portfolio of licensed consumer products, branded collaborations, publishing as well as unique brick-based products and experiences exclusive to LEGO Retail.
The creative team is a diverse, multidisciplinary group who works closely with the internal design organization as well as external partners. Our products and experiences strive to deepen LEGO fandom as well as amplify the LEGO Play experiences to new products and spaces.
This Creative Lead role will focus on developing, leading and maturing existing LEGO Retail Experiences as a part of our Extended Line Design team.
Do you have what it takes?
The journey that brings you into this role can vary. Whether you have a background as a model designer, element designer, graphic designer, retail experience designer, or similar, we would love to hear from you. Most importantly, you bring a proven ability to create, collaborate, and drive design work forward within defined frameworks.
You likely bring:
- Proven ability to conceptualize engaging products and/or play experiences within constraints
- Strong creative skills across product, industrial, retail, concept, or toy design
- Experience with concept development and the ability to set and communicate a clear creative direction
- A proactive approach to collaboration and experience working closely in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, storytelling, and visualization skills
- Solid planning, time management, stakeholder management capabilities
- Openness to input and a willingness to continuously learn and evolve your abilities
- Comfort working with people from a diverse set of backgrounds and fields
- Ability to balance creative ambition with feasibility and business impact
- Experience within retail and/or knowledge of the LEGO Development Process is an advantage, but not a requirement.

- Stays motivated and engaged across both managerial and hands-on tasks
- Have experience leading products or experiences from early concept to final delivery
- Takes ownership and lead tasks in dynamic and constantly evolving environments
- Are able to assess feasibility and viability from a holistic perspective (e.g., cost, value chain, and strategic fit).
