Job Description

Product Development Technology is part of the Consumer and Creator Technology organization within Digital Technology, responsible for the digital tool chain that supports the development of physical and digital products across the LEGO group.

In this role you will help create the tools that enables our Outbound Licensing Business, that is responsible for our portfolio of LEGO Branded product created by 3rd party manufactors.

Responsibilities

  • With a focus on User Experience, you help translate business processes into digital tools
  • Play a vital part in creating a new digital tool for our Outbound Licensing Business that supports both review and approval workflows as well as sustainability focused portfolio management
  • As part of a newly establised digital product team you help the product and its applications come to life through an initial product Discovery phase
  • Deliver end-to-end product design including research, concepts, interactive prototyping and user testing 
  • Work in discover / deliver loops on the product team together with engineers, product management and in collaboration with our licensing partners. 
  • Help create transparency through the tooling and enable us to take data driven decisions to manage the rise in complexity with simulations on planet and people impact

Requirements

  • Relevant commercial experience as a UX or product designer 
  • Portfolio with multiple examples of delivered product design, demonstrating approach and design thinking 
  • Experience with prototyping as a tool for rapid and systematic discovery, for instance with tools such as Figma etc.
  • Curious and open mindset to understand complex value chains in a large global organization
  • Ability to work with product vision and strategy and synthetize user insight into actionable priorities
  • Good facilitation expertise, collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience in planning & conducting user research and testing activities
