Are you ready to take your cybersecurity experience to the next level and help keep the LEGO Group secure?

We are looking for an Associate SOC Engineer to join our Digital Security team at our beautiful LEGO Campus in Billund. You will join an established team focused on building the technologies underpinning the cybersecurity of the LEGO Group. You will act as a member of a well-balanced product team.

The Digital Security team has the mission to make the LEGO Group cyber resilient. We are a fast-growing area structured in highly dedicated product and service teams who support all colleagues across the organization on all aspects of cybersecurity. Digital Security is an integral part of the LEGO Group’s strategy to leverage digitalization.

This role is in the Digital Security Platforms team that supports specialists covering the entire spectrum of cybersecurity by creating unique user experiences. You will be working within a team of qualified and outcome-focused engineers who are building a cutting-edge security platform. We follow agile practices and strongly believe in automation and simplicity. We work closely with our technology partners to accelerate and simplify our path to continuously protect the LEGO Group from cyber incidents.

This is a permanent full-time position based in our brand-new LEGO Campus in Billund, Denmark – the home of the brick. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, and flexible, and we like to have fun along the way!

Core Responsibilities

  • Build the simplest possible security solutions that will continually deliver working platforms to our users
  • DevSecOps approach “You build it – you run it – you own it” with automated testing and CI/CD enabled pipelines.
  • Contribute to our use cases
  • Technical sparring with other SOC Engineers demonstrating eagerness to learn and experiment with an agile mindset
  • Lean in on agile practices whilst also prioritising features, bugs, and chores alongside our product and design colleagues
  • Participate in user interviews, prototyping, and prototyping

Educational, Certifications, or Licenses

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.

Candidate Experience

  • An understanding of cybersecurity technologies
  • An understanding of how to build well-structured, easily maintained, well-documented, and accessible systems and infrastructure as code
  • An appreciation for a highly collaborative environment
  • Defaults to inclusive behaviours
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Strikes a balance between perfection and frequent shipping


  • Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Kusto Query Language
  • Experience working with cybersecurity teams
  • Performance and related testing
  • Knowledge of lean product development
  • Pushing CI/CD, small batches sizes
