Core Responsibilities

  • Under the strategy of Business continuity Plan, acting as Quality Key account for PEM plastic category EU supplier, responsible for maintaining robust supplier platform.

  • Representing quality function, play a critical role in new supplier selection, qualification by leading supplier assessment with cross function collaborators. and follow up the gaps identified, and drive lift up actions if necessary to meet The LEGO Group requirement

  • Accountable for exiting supplier performance monitoring to ensure products continuously align with The LEGO Group quality, reliability, as well as toy industry safety and regulatory requirements worldwide. including but not limited to activities like important metric set, supplier annual audit, Must Win Battle project

  • Applying SME level knowledge to drive scalable business solution and handle/coach supplier to improve quality management system and customer satisfaction

  • Be the key person in driving quality incidents under complexed environment, tactically balance cost and quality to influence in right direction of root cause analysis and improvement action

  • Provide support and coordination with novelty Project team to handle development issues and mitigate the quality risks. To governance the defined project result in each development stage

  • Travelling to EU Suppliers

Supplier Quality Performance Team is a functional team under QiEP, Corporate Quality. Its major task is to secure a sustainable supplier platform to continuously deliver products met or  exceed The LEGO Group quality requirement.

The role of Senior supplier quality engineer seating in project team to voice out the risks and driving the risk mitigation action implementation.

Visualize/report/bring up quality incidents and driving problem solving.

Setting goal and monitor supplier performance, driving continuous improvement for supplier to continuously delivering good quality products.

Contribute to business of tactically balancing cost and quality in some special project.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Certificated Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 is a must

  • Qualified Auditor for VDA6.3 is an advantage

  • Have injection molding industry experience and familiar with injection molding element’s failure model and quality verification methodology

  • Hands-on experience on lean and quality tools like APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D etc.

  • Great communication skills in multi-cultural working environment and key stake holder management

  • Strategic project management experience and sophisticated in problem solving under complicated situation

  • English as the working language

  • Engineering background is an advantage

  • Toy industry working experience is an advantage and basic toy safety knowledge and international standards
