Core Responsibilities

In the role as BI Engineer, it will be possible to use profound knowledge about BI and low-code/no-code planning tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud to consistently contribute to the development of the digital solutions within the product team Commercial Planning & Execution. If your skills are mostly centered around frontend design spark these by improving our applications with JavaScript. Work closely with the rest of the team as well as collaborators from other teams and market groups. Be a brave member of the team in delivering brand-new planning and analytics digital products and take ownership.

  • Design, build and/or configure the frontend applications in our low-code/no-code environment SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Improve the experience of the SAP Analytics cloud application with JavaScript.
  • Support, build, and/or configure data model architecture on e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Transform business requirements/user stories into technical solutions in close collaboration with the rest of the product team.
  • Refine user stories in collaboration with the product team.

The Commercial Planning & Execution team is one of several product teams within the Partner & Markets area. The purpose for the team is to digitalize and innovate the commercial planning and execution processes within the LEGO Group and establish a common data foundation for these. The team plays a meaningful role in enabling sales colleagues and leaders across the world with digital tools for managing the in-year and next year planning for our B2B retail partners. The product team have a wide user base from top-management to Key Account Managers, Finance Business Partners, and analysts.

Together we will play an essential part in transforming our organization into product, engineering and architecture led. To work closely with the other members of this agile product team to secure ongoing delivery of value to our end users.

We are an international team based at the brand-new LEGO Campus in Billund. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, and flexible, and we like to have fun along the way!

Do you have what it takes?

The preferred candidate must have a solid background of minimum 2 years relevant hands-on experience working with planning and reporting solutions, preferably in a business-facing role. Good communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align organization on decisions with partners of all levels of expertise.

Work experience and understanding of low-code/no-code vendor-provided solutions and configuration practices. Also, it is preferred if the candidate has experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or similar, JavaScript, SQL and perhaps API’s. Familiarity working in an agile setup is encouraged, as well as flexible and able to work concurrently on multiple tasks is.

To succeed in this role, you ideally have competence within the following:

  • Experience with JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of data models.
  • Experience with Analytics Applications in SAC or experience from other frontend BI solutions.

Advanced English both written and verbally is a need since we are an international gathered team.
