Core Responsibilities

  • Securing that all LEGO Education's learning solutions and solution components meets all guidelines and the high quality standard of LEGO Education and the LEGO Group

  • Build and set testing standards, processes, acceptance criteria and templates

  • Leads test management efforts in our product and platform teams in collaboration with partners

  • Investigate user testing tools, establish user testing scenarios and test-cases

  • Advocating the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important Defects

  • Work with partners on developing and ensuring the quality of our mechatronic products (hardware, firmware, mechanics)

  • Focusing on system integration between software, firmware, hardware and mechatronics

  • Be the voice of the user in projects and to partners

  • Proactively collect feedback from users and market partners

  • Be data-driven and advocate a data-driven approach in keeping track of the quality performance of all LEGO Education learning solutions

The Product Experience (PX) group is responsible for the design, engineering, and leadership of LEGO Education’s product portfolio. Our vision is to create energetic, creative, and impactful learning experiences for children around the world. We achieve this through a fully coordinated approach to the development of educational technology that unifies design, engineering, research, testing, products, and platforms.

Together with the QA Lead you will work with the overall success of the test efforts and supports the development and product team crafting and performing appropriate levels of testing to ensure the delivery of high quality software and product experiences. The QA Test Manager is involved in all aspects of our learning experiences including hardware, software, learning content and physical products.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent industry experience

  • Relevant certifications like ISEB, ISTQB or similar.

  • Proven track record in test management, preferably in companies working with digital/physical products;

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of common standard methodologies within test methods, test strategies and test tools

  • Experience in working with broad multi-functional teams covering designers, software engineers and marketing specialists

  • Strong planning skills to ensure validated test plans in close corporation with Project Leads and other key partners

  • Able to communicate test results in a clear and engaging way

  • Detail oriented, highly organized and excellent keeping documentation relevant and up to date.

  • Domain knowledge from the Edtech industry with a passion for education and learning;

  • Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools;

  • Good people and teammate skills, especially tact and advocacy skills;
