Core Responsibilities


• Co-lead a product team with Product and Engineering Leads to establish strong direction and team collaboration.
• Ensure stakeholder and user involvement in all stages of design and product development.
• Set the overall vision for design on the product team, including design approaches, tools and methodologies to ensure an exceptional user experience .
• Leads, participates in and facilitates team involvement in all design phases; from insights & UX research to the final UI implementation.
• Keeps the team up to date on best practices, trends, user data and insights.
• Act as a mentor, teacher and positive influencer of designers around you.

Are you an experienced and visionary designer who takes direction setting and design leadership just as seriously as making user journeys, wireframes, and pretty UI?

In this role, you will work with one of the world’s most trusted brands and design experiences that help LEGO Fans realize their dream projects. You will help us direct the design of user-friendly tools to administrate and assist the management of large-scale user-generated content.

Our focus is on establishing direct, long-lasting and meaningful relationships with users and we need you to build great tools for achieving this goal.
You will work in The LEGO Group’s Consumer & Creator Technology organisation in our Copenhagen Digital Office, with an empowered team responsible for reaching, inspiring and engaging with millions of adult fans and families.

Do you have what it takes?


• 5-10 years of hands-on design experience delivering digital products to users on web and mobile.
• An impressive track record of designing and building great digital products.
• “Full-stack design” experience, with ability and knowledge across the entire design process, from ideation and concepting to releasing final products.
• Great design leadership skills, showcased through your design work, communication and actions.
• Experienced user of design tools like Figma, Principles and/or Adobe applications.

Nice have to have

• Track record of championing design efforts across teams and departments in a larger organization.
• Experience in designing user-friendly administrative tools for online platforms, communities, fandoms and/or user groups.
• Experience in leading design efforts on self-governing agile teams, where communication, collaboration and taking initiative is key.
