Job Description

Summary:

As a Packing Team Lead at LEGO Group, you will collaborate with support areas such as Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse. You will be a role model, optimizing resources, participating in continuous improvement processes, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Safety & Environment:

    • Report incidents immediately to responsible authorities and follow LEGO Group's Security Policies.
    • Participate in drills, safety activities, and ensure compliance with environmental care processes.
    • Execute 5S methodology and confirm ergonomic exercises and safety standards compliance.
    • Ensure proper disposal of recyclable waste and efficient use of resources.
  • Quality & Delivery:

    • Ensure quality in key activities through Process Confirmation and provide troubleshooting support as needed.
    • Conduct 5S audits and communicate KPIs in red, addressing any issues promptly.
    • Manage shift delivery/reception effectively and coordinate team flexing to ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Address delays in product delivery, follow escalation procedures, and support operations.
  • Cost & Continuous Improvement:

    • Track and report scrap-related events and inform leaders about HeadCount issues.
    • Motivate the team to seek improvements and remove waste from processes.
  • People Management:

    • Encourage teamwork, hold daily meetings, and provide instructions and feedback to team members.
    • Coordinate tasks based on team strengths and train team in technical skills.
    • Manage training programs and ensure communication and skill compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage resources and optimize processes.
  • Experience in training and development.
  • Machine operator experience.
