In seeking ever more inspiring collaborations, the LEGO® Technic™ design team turned to one of the world’s most iconic brands. With dynamic lines, audacious angles and sleek curves, the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is unique, like all its predecessors, yet unmistakably Lamborghini.
The LEGO® Technic team worked closely with the designers and engineers at Lamborghini to capture the car’s design DNA. The teams discovered a shared passion for engineering and a fascination for detail, form and function, making this a very natural and rewarding collaboration.
Every Lamborghini is assembled with incredible attention to detail. And each one is unique, built to the specifications of its owner. The LEGO® Technic™ model is a faithful representation of the original Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 in eye-catching lime green with golden rims.
Each Lamborghini is individually hand-built, one at a time, by the masters at Automobili Lamborghini. This is the only way the company can ensure the level of perfection the founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, demanded of every Lamborghini.
Time slips by unnoticed and a focused calm descends during this immersive building experience. With 3,696 pieces requiring your complete focus and attention, the challenges of the build are many, but the rewards are even greater.
Scissor doors are a signature feature of Lamborghini and recreating their smooth movement was critical to replicate the authentic Sián FKP 37. LEGO® Technic™ designers worked tirelessly to achieve the effortless push-button operation that opens the model doors.
Nothing beats the drama of a rear spoiler moving elegantly into place on a super sports car like the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37. It was essential to recreate this movement because the spoiler provides essential downforce at high speeds. The function was a challenge but (spoiler alert) one that was overcome beautifully.
The design DNA of Lamborghini has reached new levels in the Sián FKP 37. Inspired by the Countach, with sharp lines and aerodynamic elegance that leaves you breathless. The LEGO® Technic designers worked hard to stay true to the original's beautiful outline and aerodynamic performance.
Rims are such an eye-catching part of the Sián’s design that the team knew they couldn’t truly recreate the car if they didn’t replicate its rims. After painstaking experimentation, drum-lacquering was used to coat the elements in the golden color to match the perfect glossiness and finish of the actual rims.
In the LEGO® Technic™ Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, the beauty is in the authentic recreation of iconic Lamborghini details, like the stunning Terzo Millennio-inspired Y-shaped headlights replicated at the front.

The Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is Lamborghini’s first hybrid, combining electric power with the epic V12 engine. Both the V12 and the pushrod suspension system are important elements of the Sián’s DNA, and the design team pushed the Technic building system to its limits to recreate them in the final model.
The model's rear-mounted engine recreates the epic V12 with moving pistons, 4-wheel drive and active front and rear suspension. The wheels feature authentic brake discs and callipers and replicate the car's rear differential exactly.

It seemed a shame to go to the trouble of simulating the intricate workings of the 8-speed sequential gearbox only to hide it away inside the model. So a small window was created on the underside to enable viewing of the gears at work.
