ToaREX : The Unbeginning

May walked about. She was getting desperate, and angry on top of that as well. Chris SAID they would meet here, right here, and he's what, 14 minutes late? She wouldn't look for the Silver Mask without him. It just wouldn't be fair-

Oh, there he was.

Chris made quite the entrance with his lightning magic. He lit up the sky when he teleported in, and spun and bowed to May, wiping off the sparks from his armor.

"It's about time, Chrissy. I hate waiting in the cold like this. It's really not good for me, it makes me feel cramped in my armor and it-"

"Oh, quit your complaining, Jade Mistress. If it makes you so uncomfortable, why must you wear that armor? It makes you slow and cumbersome."

"That's because I have to drag around a hammer that's equivalent to 1.5 billion pounds. Just because I'm a goddess doesn't mean I don't have standards. I can't just make things poof out of nowhere like the legends say," May muttered.

"Ugh, you remind me of that red-haired girl. She always yelled and complained. I don't get how her group put up with her, especially the one with the long hair."

"Pssh. Let's just find the mask and be done with it. My ponytail needs a touching up, anyway."

So they searched. And searched. And searched, and searched and searched. But the mask was nowhere to be found. "MAY-be those rumors MAY have been not true," May said.

"Why do you keep emphasizing every 'may' in your sentence? Are you really that bored, Mistress?"

"Bingo. I am. So, let's leave."

"Whatever you say, M'lady."

And as Chris said that, he grabbed May(and quite suddenly at that) and teleported away. She could feel her hair being singed as the bolt struck them, and a loud crack followed. She found herself in her castle, which was under construction.

"Can you be a little gentle with the lightning bolts next time? I think my hair is on f-fire," May stammered.

Christopher was still holding her in his arms and realized how awkward it was and dropped her onto the ground. May quickly got up, brushed the dirt off of her face, took a deep breath, and screamed in his ear these exact words:

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

Chris was too busy being deafened to answer her, so he tried to change the subject with a suggestion. "W-why don't we get the ToaREX to help us find the Mask? It's still out there, they'd definitely want to find it."

"That's actually... Not a bad idea," May admitted.
