Blaze Sandracer RP - Probe Droids

(RP) One of the spies recently leaked information of several probe droids in the area. I was tasked with finding and destroying at least one while Ashehna and the other padawans took on a different mission on Tatooine. Boom, the closest apprentice to Jedi Knight, would accompany me on my mission to gain valuable experience. It would hopefully be his last mission before becoming a Knight. R3 followed me down the hall to Boom's quarters, where I knocked on the door. A few moments later, the young Ithorian opened the door and welcomed me in. "Ready, Boom?" I asked him. Putting a hand on his lightsaber, he nodded. "Then let's go crush some probe droids."

A couple minutes later, we exited the NJO base, wrapped in warm clothing. After crunching across the frozen ground for a few paces, we hopped into a speeder. I powered up the vehicle and sped off in the direction of the given coordinates, where the droid may be hiding. The speeder glanced a snow-covered boulder, causing it to drift sideways. I tried to stabilize the controls, but a small rock did that for me. We skipped upwards, then bounced back down and slid down a gradual snowdrift. Boom held on tightly to the side of the speeder, fighting to stay in his seat. The bottom of the snowdrift ended at the foot of an ice cave. As we skidded alongside the cave, the entrance loomed towards us. I hammered the controls and barely avoided the dark cavern. Suddenly, Boom pointed into the mouth of the cave and shouted. I looked into the depths of the cavern, trying to identify what Boom had noticed. Out of the darkness, a red eye flickered to life. "Probe droid! Boom, jump!" I yelled as I realized what the object was. Boom used the side of the speeder to propel himself forward, colliding with the probe droid in mid-air. He ignited his lightsaber and whirled towards the droid, slashing it across the middle. When the droid started to careen away, Boom Forced it back onto his extended lightsaber blade. After the sparking mess of scorched metal hit the ground, the Ithorian turned back towards the speeder when a red laser bolt came from behind us. I Force pushed him out of the way just in time, then glanced over my shoulder. Six bounty hunters, three assassin droids, a Trandoshan, a Weequay, and a Rodian jumped down, blasters blazing. Two of the assassin droids charged the speeder. Boom jumped up and deflected four blaster bolts, then took cover behind the speeder. As the pair of assassin droids climbed up onto the speeder, I swept my lightsaber through their legs, then Forced them back into the Weequay. He blasted one of the droids off of him, then kicked the second one aside and aimed a sniper rifle at the speeder's engine. Thinking fast, I hurled my lightsaber, aiming for the barrel of the weapon. However, He took a step forward and the blade sliced through his arm. I Force pulled my lightsaber back to me and used it to deflect a blaster bolt back into the Rodian, who sank to his knees in the snow before falling forward. Boom jumped to the side and Force-pushed the Trandoshan, but the bounty hunter dug his claws into the snow and resisted. Growling, he ran forward, brandishing his blaster like a club, and did a flip over the speeder. He landed on Boom, holding him down fiercely. I knocked him unconscious with my hilt, then helped Boom to his feet. The Weequay reached for the Rodian's blaster, but I Forced him into the snow bank, causing it to collapse on top of him. Then the third assassin droid charged Boom, firing as he ran. Boom stepped sideways and stabbed backwards, spearing the droid mid-stride. "Good job, Boom. Are you all right?"

He nodded his head, then climbed into the speeder, which had taken only a few blaster hits. I got in as well, and we zoomed back to the base to report our results. (RP Over)
